I bought a switch (bought with eBay 20% off voucher so seemed rather a good deal) and after completing Mario I've not used it that much, I'm waiting until I can't go for a long walk each day.

Is animal crossing really that good? I've seen reviews and adverts and thought it seemed a bit like work; bashing trees like Minecraft to craft a chair

Over the Weekend I watched a series called "The Event" which my husband recommended on Amazon. Its very very interesting.
They have missing planes and a virus similar to the spanish flu to decrease the population in order to bring more non humans to earth.

Worth a watch if you are bored

Our downstairs neighbour called this morning and said my kids are welcome to use the garden (it’s his, comes with his flat). Says he never uses it so it may as well get some use and I’m free to use it however I please. Whether it’s because he is genuine or he’s getting sick of the sound of my kids running around upstairs, I’m so grateful!!

Does anyone know how far behind Italy the US are supposed to be? Their numbers have been very low, which is great, it just seems a bit odd.. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Is it just me that thinks we aren’t going to see the numbers predicted or the numbers seen in Italy and Spain? Our death toll, particularly Scotland and Wales’, is very slow? Or am I being naive? Does anyone know where we are in comparison to Italy and Spain when they were at the same stage?

I really think my mum had it in January, I’ve never seen her so unwell, it was like flu but so much worse, she was really unwell for 3 weeks and it took her a long time to get her health back to normal, I really do want the new “did you have corona” test #NewSwitch because she’s avoiding her grandkids right now incase she gets it. If she’s already had it she would still need to be cautious but it would be good to know if that was what she had and it would make me less worried about her chances of getting it again, I’ve never in my life seen her so unwell and it is making me more concerned than I am about myself or anyone else around me.

it’s scary to think it’s gone undetected here for 3 months if these cases were genuinely the corona.

I can't say I experienced any of that, the aches I had were more my muscles and joints.
One really big sign which I wasn't aware of at the time is a loss of taste. When you eat or drink its almost like you have just used a very strong mouthwash like oraldene.

I've heard of a few people who have completely lost their taste and smell too

Russian News Channels have apparently told people that CV started here in the UK! I suppose thats some strange way of getting back at us over the Sailsbury poisonings?

Maybe im just a bit paranoid but I always try and look at the bigger picture when stuff happens. I firmly believe that the media only tell us what they want us to here.
 
Living at home with my mum and dad cos of my anxiety disorder. They’re over 70 and I have asthma. My dad has just been out the front pumping bicycle tyres with our neighbour. My mum is raging 😡
