What region of the country do you live in?
Sorry for asking the obvious - but if she hasn't been tested, how do you know she has it???No she hasnt been tested.
I live in Wales and it’s all a bit secretive. When the cases and deaths started here we were told where they were and how old the victims were, but there has been nothing for over a fortnight just general numbers for the whole of Wales. We do know that Gwent in S.Wales has been very badly hit because the head of the health authority there made a statement saying they were very close to being overwhelmed.
My Mum knows someone who works in the local hospital and I’m of the belief it’s worse than we are being told from what she has told my mum. All non urgent appointments have been cancelled.

I cant get my head around why everything is such a secret. Surely they can give the public more information, more in depth information rather than just numbers
This was the story I read and it really upset me. It got him so quickhttps://www.12ft.io/https://www.dai...ealthy-banker-dies-coronavirus-isolation.html
This is heartbreaking x
Where I live it's a smallish town so they've said they wouldn't give exact locations for patient confidentiality, that could be the case there also ? all our non urgent procedures have been cancelled here for a few weeks ..it's so they can get as much med staff onboard solely to deal with the virus cases...I cant get my head around why everything is such a secret. Hey. I’m on thyroid medication too but although we are fatigued do listen to your doctor, I’ve not heard anything about it making us high risk. Of course I understand your anxiety. Try and step away from the news for a day and look after yourself xI am worrying too. I am on thyroid meds and Gp said I’m nit high risk but I alol have other conditions that cause fatigue so I’m terrifired if I got it I’m a goner. I am fatigued daily so I can’t see how my body would have the energy to fght such a virus, even if thr Gp says I’m not high risk. I’ve convinced myself I’m going to die, this anxiety is bloody awful,
Someone already posted that thyroid does not put you more at risk..Hey. Just like to point out I haven‘t actually soiled myself! ...yet!I have an anxiety disorder, and let’s just say my bowels become very mobile at times
weirdly I haven’t been too bad during this whole corona thing
The symptoms and she rang the doctor.Sorry for asking the obvious - but if she hasn't been tested, how do you know she has it???
I think it is down to psychology, people moving out of areas where there has been a higher number of deaths reported which just leads to a higher concentration of people in areas that can't cope like we saw with Cornwallgate.I might be wrong but I think they found that giving out too much information wasn’t helpful to people, I know in the beginning they was a weird witch hunt going on around who was diagnosed and where they lived, who they might have been in contact with and where they might have been, I do believe too much information is dangerous at times
And they need to respect the privacy of those who have died. I’ve seen some really intrusive questions on twitter about how these people died/what they died from/had they stopped or struggled to breathe and suffocated Twitter is weird.
