Just like that it’s all over

I’ve not been 100% since the 3rd covid booster in December, I had a cold not long ago and rebound cold two weeks later. It’s weird, this onslaught on the immune system.

Mind you, I got bitten by my pet cat earlier today and not keeled over yet! 😸
My girls dance teacher has had bronchitis, laryngitis and something else back to back and still isn't quite better 5 weeks later

Has anyone had weird symptoms not usually associated with COVID? I’ve finally caught it after two years of jabs and social distancing and I seem to have developed the worst case of restless legs syndrome! It started last week when I was already falling ill but was yet to realise it, it now takes me 2-3 hours to fall asleep because of that…I’m so weak and in so much pain it feels like I’m falling apart 🙄

I did experience a few symptoms that were not listed as common symptoms for Covid-19. Take it easy and hope you feel better soon.

I've heard restless leg syndrome can be related to covid. I'm sorry you're suffering

This is from local company to me. Seems like they're more worried about the fitters missing work than anything else. Once free tests have stopped, nobody will know if they have it? I can't afford tests and if I had symptoms I'd either be home ill or in work if I felt well enough.

Yes! I’m so glad you’ve said this. I’m on day 8 after testing positive and my legs have ached so much and been so restless throughout the day!

Sorry if this isn't a question to be asked here but my son had a bad cough and had a headache yesterday, I have the sniffles and sore throat but no cough. We are both testing negative on multiple antigen tests, does that mean we definitely don't have it or what is your experience?

My sons have had this for about a fortnight ,they keep testing neg on Lft so carrying on as usual ,it must be a bad cold .

I’ve had a sore throat since last week and a cough which started at the weekend. Tested negative Saturday and this morning. My colleague, who I sat near on Wednesday, has a sore throat and tested positive this morning

That makes sense. With the huge backlog of appointments the NHS is trying to get through, obviously people will be turning up with covid not knowing they have it until a test on arrival.

I thought they were putting it down to the vaccines waning , it's going up in Scotland at speed .
