I’m day 2 and feeling totally drained, but otherwise just fairly mild cold symptoms. Out of interest does anyone know anyone who has actually tested negative on day 5? Everyone I know who has had it has tested positive for the full 10 days and longer even if the symptoms only last for 5 days or so.

I tested positive on Friday afternoon and then negative yesterday morning and negative again this morning. I still have symptoms and feel worse today than I have throughout though 😳

Hi guys.

Just looking for advice.
I'm looking to travel from Scotland to London flying.
Just wondering if pcr tests beforehand are still in use? Or is this only for travelling abroad?

Checked government website but its a bit confusing all the different sectors for different parts of UK.

Thank you!

I'm day 6 in Scotland which I think is the same as day 5 in England. My test is still positive but really faint today. Most people I know have either had to do the full 10 days or have been testing negative around day 8/9.

I flew to London from Scotland in November and didn't need any proof of tests or vaccinations. We did get asked for proof on the way back to Scotland but I think it's because Easyjet were just asking everyone regardless of where they were flying to as the queue for check in was mixed with people going to different places. I don't think tests have ever been required for internal travel within the UK.

My friend flew Edinburgh to Gatwick last week and didn’t have to, didn’t even have to show her covid passport!

BA2 Omicron strain isn't good in Hong Kong.
Deltacron on the up in Europe

Sooooooo just to let everyone know we were supposed to be meeting up with family tomorrow who had omicron in January like us and the brother in law has just tested positive again. About 8 weeks later. So natural immunity my actual duck! And he was fully sick.
Tbf it could be a residual postive and not a true positive

Tested positive on Monday night....after escaping the virus for 2 years.....have felt pretty grim since, but last night I felt like I was turning a corner and felt so much brighter (the night before it actually hurt to breathe) anyway throughout the night I have gone downhill again 😷🔫 I'm really wheezing and the cough is worse than ever.....I'm also coughing up lots of vile stuff.....I suppose that's a good sign as I'm obviously clearing my lungs but jeez this is awful 😷 (by the way I am the worst patient in the world) 😜

Hope you get well soon. Yeah the nights are the worst, I agree (and the coughing up of horrible stuff) I've been there.
Still it will pass, slowly yet surely, (y)
