this so doesn't make sense lol

if you can't give it to Colin because your solicitor is too busy, how will you be able to give it to another garden/allotment CIC?

They started negotiations in May and had the space by September.

If Carly has a shred of decency (which I don’t believe she does) she should give every penny left to Colin. He doesn’t need to approach her. She doesn’t need to talk to him. She can just put It all into the gofundme.
But she won’t

He has probably ignored her. As a charity they could receive the donation direct to their bank account. He would only need to supply account details. I would not give Burd bank details even if she said she was giving me money.

You couldn’t make it up, Colin has shown exactly what Carly could and should have done, even without the money.
He’s rubbing her face in it without even trying and she must be fumming.
As a non Harlow resident it is hilarious and I am totally here for it, but what a waste of gullible people’s money.

He has not slated her, he has asked some questions about the money, which haven't been answered.

He as covered the story from the saltening, and all he has done is reported on both sides regarding the issues with the council and the allotment and the school.

She makes herself look more guilty every time she wrote something.

My favourite thing about this is that the 10 benefits of gardening list has been written by a human and not a computer 😂
 
So to recap from yesterday, Carly wants to give away £100k to good causes. She has only advertised this on the "Spotted in Harlow" Facebook page with no criteria or way to contact her about it or apply. She says it is very difficult to give away the money because the CIC regulator has to approve each donation (this is nonsense) and her solicitor is too busy because of all her various legal actions (more nonsense).

She has misrepresented the asset lock. This is a safeguard for when the CIC is wound up and still has assets. Normally you nominate another non-profit body when you set up the CIC. Carly did not do this. But she can still nominate a charity or CIC at any time. If she does not do this and AMOMWL is wound up with assets only then will the CIC regulator decide who gets the assets. In the normal operating of the asset lock the assets go to the already named body.

A chunk of comments on her post are urging her to make her donation to another charity. The charity is an amazing one and I hope she does, they will put all money to good use.

If there is any money that is.
