The rats and pigeons must be the best fed in the country. I can't believe the council hasn't had complaints. Also what happens when there is a sudden unexpected shower? Is it all left to go soggy?

If I was desperate for food I'd rather go hungry than to eat from that. At least apps like Olio you can pick what you want and the food is stored inside but best of all it's FOR FREE.

That was my reaction when I first read about her leaving food on the driveway.

The only update I've seen has only been on Your Harlow, not Spotted in Harlow or Carly's FB accounts

I would hope she has some kind of arrangement to pick it up to go to biodigestion or animal feed - it seems like more than the council would agree to collect as regular domestic food waste.

Also the food bags, she gets to decide who gets them and they are not immediate. They are being given out on Friday, sucks to be whoever contacts her because they have run out of food. They will have to wait for up to a week to get food.

Then she brags about it for no other reason than to make herself look good.

Waiting for up to a week is the best case scenario. There have been people asking for updates 6 weeks later, all the while not knowing when they may be lucky enough to get some.

Carly, if you can't help, respond with a pro forma response of other places they can try for help. Even if they've already tried those places, it makes you look a lot less self-centred and actually community minded.

I think there might be a pretzel in that croissant bag, and it looks like there could be baguettes at the bottom?

So if somebody really wants that baguette (or if all of the individually sealed ones in the pallet are taken), they might rifle through all the croissants to get it? Is she providing disposal gloves? Tongs?

I don’t think there’s much point in gloves and tongs when this stuff is completely open to the elements for animals to rummage through and pigeons to piss on.
