Adam said it in one of the “I’m Self Publishing!!!” vlogs. He said he’d read to Gary on FaceTime. I would have thought that hearing it read out loud would have highlighted many of the problems with the writing but it went over Gary’s head it seems.

I think the “jokes” and style of writing might have sounded more natural read out loud tbh, from the screenshots shared here it’s very much like he’s written exactly as he talks and then gone through again with a thesaurus adding in weird “fancy” sentences and when you read out loud you often miss grammar and spelling mistakes because your brain autocorrects and reads what should be there rather than what is there so it’s probably the best way to hear the book

It isn’t fair to the genuine shopper to see all those biased reviews and ratings from people that could not possibly have read it. Good to see another genuine one come through to provide more balance.
