Actually Honest - skincare and makeup reviews #4

I’m doing a boots order. I wanted to try the Hylauronic night mask but it error messages and just won’t add to the basket.
Any other recommendations for an inexpensive night product to combat dullness available at boots? Thanks

The Nip & Fab Glycolic Fix daily cleansing pads are my “go to” product when I want to polish my face! They give a lovely healthy glow!

Finally tried my LE Skin Tint. Loved it.

I was reading this last night when I couldn’t sleep so ordered it today. Had been looking at the summer Fridays skin tint for ages but went with the LE one instead! Got a bit carried away and bought a whole bunch of other stuff, shame I missed the free gift offer!

Can someone with £95 spare buy this Rodial cream and review for me, I am so intrigued 😂 what cream apart from La Mer is this much money retail?! And the ingredients are wild.

Also, I used Luminous Silk for the first time in years this week as I got a new one for my birthday. I didn’t do it all over as a full face, more with a skin tint and just a bit for some more coverage - but I forgot how much I love it

Klarna pay in 3?! 😂

Look up Retirides..thats the brand name...I just checked and the place I got it from before (Spanish pharmacy) no longer sells it online as think you need prescription now.

I'm in a tret group on FBook and a ppl order from a site called the Chemist 247...based in India and run by a guy called Vikram...ppl have got stuff to Uk no problem but not Ireland. The stuff is genuine and he is lovely and can provide advice. The Azelic Acid they sell is good too apparently. A UK site called tretinoinworld .net is also recommended and an Irish girl said she can get it from there to Ireland no problem

Would you know where I would find such FB group 👀

Just got retirides 0.1% and I'm hooked, but struggling to find it online from anywhere reputable 😭

Has anyone had any success with any k or j beauty products for rosacea? Currently using 0.75% metronidazole gel that my GP prescribed, I think it's helping but maybe not as much as the Paula's Choice azelaic acid. Was going to get some bits from Stylevana so thinking I can add in any recommendations with my order 😊

Can anyone recommend a good hyaluronic acid? I’m using one from an Irish brand that is quite expensive at €55 and find it hard to justify the cost even though it works for my skin. If anyone knows of a cheaper one that is effective or that they can recommend I’d love to hear it.

I am using Inkey hyaluronic acid and finding it really good but have only had the cheaper ones, not sure how it compares to more expensive ones though

This stuff is brilliant value from Amazon:

The Hada Labo stuff in the white bottle with cherry blossoms is in Superdrug is the same brand but just marketed towards Westerners I think

The boots hyaluronic sleep mask is the best cheaper brand I have used but I am currently using the skingredients one and it's the best I have used. For reference I have used:
Pestel and morter
Ella and Jo
L'Oreal (and probably more I can't remember if I'm honest) and not liked ANY of them.

I second the inky list one. When I have money (rarely these days) I think the best you can get is Vichy or la Roche posay which are both cheaper than €55 and often on offer in boots or escentual.com

I quite like Cerave’s hyaluronic serum. It’s about £14 on offer. I have super sensitive rosacea skin and it works for me. I spray Curel mist underneath to seal in moisture.
