Does anyone have any advice on a good starter make up brand for a 13yr old ?
My niece has asked me for makeup for Xmas & although I wear make up sometimes I feel like I’ve no clue what I’m doing 😂
I just want to be able to start her with some nice lip gloss, mascara etc.

Not makeup suggestions as such but my friend got a make up artist to do a session for her 13 yo and a couple of her friends to teach them how to apply it properly with a light hand and it was noticeably effective. Where some other girls were slapping on the creosote and overdoing eyebrows/lashes, they had got a really nice natural look done well.

Does anyone use Beauty Pie? If so, would you recommend Youthbomb over Super Retinol? Is the former worth the price difference? I've tried the super retinol 3% and my skin seems to like it but it's been out of stock for ages.

I tried youthbomb and didn't rate it at all. Didn't see what the fuss was about. There were no noticeable benefits from it for me. It only lasted about 6 weeks as well so I didn't feel it offered value for money personally.

I tried the search bar to see if anyone has mentioned this brand and nothing showed up, has anyone tried this microinfusion.....is it just a gimmick?

Anyone know where ebay sellers get their skincare stuff? There are obviously fakes on there, but also sellers with genuine stuff and oodles of it. Where do they get it from?

My friend works in marketing and gets boxes and boxes of free products and sells them all. She earns really good money and gets lots of perks on top but still flogs them and not even for super bargain prices.

Hello,
Has anyone tried ‘manicurist green flash led’ nails? Any good? Do you have to use their chemical to get them off? I liked the red carpet manicure ones because they would peel off if I had a long bath

I wasn’t aware that the EU had banned (*salon staff can still buy) the gel style nail varnishes that I have been using at home.

bit gutted as I’d got some nice new colours recently, unsure whether to dispose of now and start with a non-toxic brand or to finish off (I’ve never finished a nail varnish in my life)

edit- I’m also pissed that guardian beauty/Sali Hughes/ the other types like that haven’t raised the issue to readers :/

I bought a Victoria Beckham posh balm which I love but it doesn’t retract into the tube? You twist it up and it just stays there. I contacted their customer services because I thought it was broken and apparently that’s just how it works. Is this correct? It seems a bit weird that you can’t retract it into the tube. It’s annoying because I actually really like it.

Does anyone think the shark led face mask will go into the Black Friday sale? I am in NEED for some TLC but I’ll be fuming if it’s discounted next week 😂😭

I was thinking of investing in the Dr Dennis Gross one bit yet to look into alternatives. Is there a particular reason you’re looking at the Shark one?
