I found sheer glow to be much more matte than i expected - id definitely recommend going into a shop for a shade match and a sample before you part with your hard earned cashAnyone got any strong recommendations for Nars foundation ? I’ve wanted to try it for ages but been disappointed with a few high end ones in the past .
I tried a couple and the colour was good, but they were both too heavy for me.Anyone got any strong recommendations for Nars foundation ? I’ve wanted to try it for ages but been disappointed with a few high end ones in the past .
I got one last Christmas on the Thursday it still looked good until around the Wednesday . The one I got I was around 6pm and I showered it off at 9. She did a double spray so it lasted longer but I was really impressed . It didn’t come off on anything I just wore really old loose clothes to the appointment then my dressing gown when I got home until I showered .I thought this might be a good thread to ask about spray tans. I’ve never used fake tan but we are going away in March next year and I would like a bit of a glow. I am a pale girl
Anyway I wanted some advice or just to hear how spray tans work. Was thinking about getting it a day before our flight.
In general how long should it last? Untill my first shower? Also will it come off on my clothes and bedding?

See this is the knowledge I needed from you and @chocolatepanda6I LOVE getting a spray tan for holidays!
I usually get it the day before (early and wash off in the evening, or late and wash off in the morning depending on flight time).
Try and get an oil free suncream, oil degrades the tan, moisturise loads and dont exfoliate till you want it off.
Mine did yeah . Definitely book it !See this is the knowledge I needed from you and @chocolatepanda6
I didn’t even know you’re supposed to wash it off
Thanks for the advice. I think I’ll try and book one now to see how it goes. And I’ll also ask about a double spray

Also on a side note, does the face also get sprayed?
I got one last year going on hols and while I loved being tanned with a glow rathermy usual Casper appearance it was very hot and therefore i was as sweaty af and I found it the combo of sweat, tan, and probably sun cream destroyed some of my clothes, denim shorts mainly, presumably sitting down making my thighs and stomach even sweatier (I know, I'm painting a very attractive picture here!). Anyway upshot was couple of my white and lighter coloured shorts had a brown tan hue in some areas that didn't shift despite multiple washes there and back home even using bicarb stain removers etc. There were only Penneys ones so it wasn't the end of the world although sod's law there were some of my favourite ones. Tan stains always come out of my sheets so maybe it was the denim factor that made them impossible to shift. Anyway, that's my incredibly long tuppence worth!I thought this might be a good thread to ask about spray tans. This is sort of what I'm scared of. We're not going somewhere for sun but I do just want a bit of a glow. Hopefully this means I won't be sweating it offI got one last year going on hols and while I loved being tanned with a glow rathermy usual Casper appearance it was very hot and therefore i was as sweaty af and I found it the combo of sweat, tan, and probably sun cream destroyed some of my clothes, denim shorts mainly, presumably sitting down making my thighs and stomach even sweatier (I know, I'm painting a very attractive picture here!). If it's not mad heat, go for it. I will also say that the dove gradual cream is a little God send if you start it early enough. Maybe 2 weeks, ten days before you go although it's a bit of a pain having to do it daily at the start. And if you aren't going to be stripping off to the full body tan level the lidl marbella glow for 5 euro is the bomb for when you need a glow for the likes of dresses, shorts and vests but not all over. (Obviously it can go anywhere but a full body DIY is beyond me!This is sort of what I'm scared of. We're not going somewhere for sun but I do just want a bit of a glow. I'll give it a try in the coming weeks and see how I look and if it's for me
I never knew how pale I was until I moved to the UK! Growing up in a hot country I realise you have a bit of a glow all year round and now I miss that
If you didn’t want to go for a spray tan, I would recommend the Bondi Sands every day gradual tanning milk. I only use it once and get a nice glow, but you can use it daily to build an even deeper colour.I thought this might be a good thread to ask about spray tans. My niece has asked me for makeup for Xmas & although I wear make up sometimes I feel like I’ve no clue what I’m doing
I just want to be able to start her with some nice lip gloss, mascara etc.
