Content-wise I also think the rebranding is a very good idea. Years too late, but better late than never. I can see her trying a little bit more things like her last AD video with the gallery wall. When her book is out in October I'm expecting some videos about that. Not only about the book-launch or a video wheer she talks about (pre-)ordering and signing books, but also videocontent about some of the chapters, seasons, recipes and tips. especially because halloween and christmas is going to happen.

Maybe in general less beauty and more lifestyle and interior. Sometimes I have the impression that nobody actually watches make-up videos anymore. And when they do it's not from someone like Zoe or some of the Brighton youtubers who do it as a hobby and more from Jeffree Star or James Charles or some of these people who are way better in the make-up business and have their own kind of humour and entertainment factor.

I'm very curious about vlogmas and the christmas content. Of course she'll do at least vlogmas and maybe a new snowy/wintery showroom with Zoella Lifestyle products. Maybe there's a big christmas party in their house or she will buy again a shitton of christmas trees and decorations.

But after I saw these IG Storys from the London party for Joe and her being that silent, I'm wondering too if there's something off between Zoe and Alfie. When I see this photo, Zoe sitting alone between a lot of partys I honestly kinda feel bad for her. I'm not trying to defend her because she's def no saint but in their relationship she obviously is the one whos so so much more interested and Alfie doesn't give a fck. When they get together she was so much more beautiful than he was (he was an actual fetus and I always thought she was way out of his league at this time) and sometimes I think she is the one who really is in love with him as a person (who knows why) and he always just fancied her because she was goodlooking and "Zoella". And in situations like this party I can imagine how Zoe actually feels lonely and disappointed or insecure and Alfie is in the next room goofing off with other youtubers like a teenager about savage video ideas and showing off the fame he'd never had without his girlfriend. Maybe that's the reason nobody of them is vlogging atm at home anymore.
 
yeah I agree, Zeella used to be fresh face, I think the brown hair (shoulder length) was really good for her.
currently bf's at the age with money and a lot of energy, she's a slug, slugging around
They're just not very compatible, so she's always behaving like a ''cheerleader gf" to him, holding on for dear life

Yes. When him and zoe first got together he was a geeky boy. She was the more popular one. I think the tables have completely turned. He is starting to become a man. He is confident and he will have been seeing how much sex Marcus has been getting with his new edgy model girlfriend. Zoe is boring and too insecure for Alfie to stick around. Watch their relationship Q&A!!! It's so obvious...he basically admits that he fancies other women...he wouldn't care if he was single..and he mentions that if he wasn't with Zoe he would probably be with a model! This is all whilst poor zoe is sat there like a mug listening to him and trying to be the 'cool' 'not bothered' girlfriend whilst we all know she is dying inside.
 
I agree that Alfie is more handsome now but I really don't see anything that shows "he is starting to become a man". He's just taller, richer and more braggy than before. I don't see confidence and don't see any maturity.

But I see where you're going. Marcus and Niomi were THE COUPLE some years ago and they showed it could work to split up and find someone who matches you better than your ex. Marcus has his pretty model girlfriend (which everyone in Germany just laughs about but well) and does more travelling. Alfie def would want this kind of life and as you said he wouldn't care that much if he was single.

Also a note why I don't think Alfie is mature at all was exactly this question in their relationship Q&A. They both talked about how they would need someone as a partner who understands their jobs. While Zoe said something like "someone who's in the same industry" or something like "someone who gets the problems/fame" or whatever, Alfie said "a model"
 
Ok, I don't quite know what to do with myself, cuz I kinda liked her vlog today...?

I enjoyed her talking over some basics about event calendars, marketing stuff, etc. I'm always down to hear more about that kind of stuff since I'm a blogger myself and always interested in brand management related things. She even actually dropped an F-bomb once or twice like a normal 20-something year old woman lol what a concept. ANDDDDD it wasn't 10 billion hours long thank god

The corkscrew curls were still a mess (although they looked a bit better after they fell later in the day) but it actually felt like a normal person vlog....more or less.

I'm looking forward to her soon doing book launch related things though because that horrible Pinterest knockoff is bound to fail haha

Edit: I do think it's interesting how she's gone with "the weekly" vlog idea like Louise has done. Admittedly I don't watch a lot of other vloggers -- is moving towards weekly vlogs over daily vlogs a trend or is she lowkey copying Louise?

She's been doing the weekly blog thing for a while hasn't she? well for the only times she botheres to vlog.

Obviously only starting it back up as products to sell and books to shift.

I'm not watching it.

I'll watch it when she does a "he was stringing me along and using me" post ditching Alfie vlog.

Did she mention anything concering the dangers they face with extinction in the wild?

She has the money to do something like go palm oil free easily and spread a posative, but would mean a tiny reduction in income by saying no to doing ads for brands like Nutella.
 
Does anyone think she's going back to ZoeSugg to ride the Joe Sugg train while he's on Strictly? That is a huge show with a massive following and as Zoella she doesn't immediately identify as being related to him. She can pick up a fair number of older followers along his journey if he stays in it.

I mainly noticed because she literally labeled these past two vlogs "weekly vlog". She didn't do that before so I wasn't sure if it was the start of an "official" thing, like how Louise calls her series "the weekly"

But I'm probably giving her way too much credit to even think she might start making a series / consistent content lol

I did think the same actually. Cashing in, trying to make Sugg a brand. Already tried with that crap Sugg life merch.
