Why on earth would they leave the footage of Ottie licking the kitchen aid in??

Its not even the germs for me cause it can be washed but its more so that it was definitely still plugged in. I have no doubt she would’ve tried to turn it on while she was licking it if she was left to her own devices for long enough and those things are powerful. She could’ve genuinely broken her little nose or knocked some teeth out. Through no fault of her own obviously she’s a small child, but how on earth would they try explain that one away.

I have actually just paused the vlog to come here about that. I’m gobsmacked i’ve just watched that to be honest. Absolute stupidity - letting a child lick something that is electric and still presumably plugged in. I know she turned her back but she didn’t correct her when she returned.
Neither of these two are ever going to correct these children. It’s not about punishing them when they do bad things, it’s guidance, and children need it, and parents are supposed to offer it. They are just not going to do it. They’re both totally feckless.

Not only that, and I’m totally showing my age here, but I was never allowed to eat anything that had raw egg in it because of the salmonella poisoning in the late 80’s.

Her climbing on to the counter too , I was so worried she'd fall backwards !

Perfect example of how they seem to treat her way older she's only 3 and she still needs to be supervised. They seem to expect to much of her and can't tell her no. No child should be climbing onto a counter in a kitchen let alone been left lick an electrical appliance. So dangerous and not correcting her now and teaching no boundaries will really be challenging in a few years time.

Poor child at the same time as she should be able to enjoy baking with her mother without lots of strangers watching. I just can't imagine the effects of family vlogging on children and I bet it's going to be something we look back on and think why was that allowed

She's been mentioned 2 or 3 times. They went to buy the Christmas tree with the family and Dotty was there. And also while planning the Christmas Eve sleep over, talking about where Dotty would sleep now and when she is a bit more grown

alfie mentioning how lucky they are because ottie hasn't had to go to nursery. surely it would have been beneficial for ottie to actually spend some time with children a similar age and actually prepare for starting school.

Absolutely. It’s a form of exploitation and I feel guilty watching it, because i’m another number that incentivises them to make this content.
Lets be real here - what else is there. Both of them. A few brand deals, Alfie sticks another pretentious slogan on some pastel coloured loungewear, which he pays genuinely talented people to flog for him, and royalties from YouTube. She ditched Zoella which was her brand. I don’t really know how they are still stringing this influencer career out.

Her mum's male mate and a vlogging camera all in the room while she bathes and for what reason really ??

That's why her skin isn't great. No amount of expensive skin care is going to reverse what she's doing to it. It's gross too!

Ottie is definitely a very smart little girl, but I definitely think her lack of engagement with other children will impact her when she goes to school. Yes she spends a lot of time with adults and is clearly developed in many ways, but they all pander to her constantly. I really wonder how she’ll deal with all the kids in school, picking up on their social cues and dealing with conflict etc. She’s been in a bubble where everything revolves around her and I don’t think it’s to do with being rich, it’s to do with being isolated because of her mother’s failure to get out into the world and mingle with people.
