I find it uncomfortable that they film Ottie’s bedtime as well but I felt for Mark the other day when Ottie asked him to read her bedtime story in bed with her. Mark appears to be good with her but I felt like he didn’t really want to be filmed in that moment in time. I thought they’d sense that and stop filming but they didn’t! Poor bloke had zoe shining a spotlight on him with Alfie filming whilst he read a three year old a book. So strange.

I'll be honest. Zoe doesn't deserve this life.
Maybe I'll jealous because I only get Christmas and Boxing Day off due to my role. And she gets to bang on about being so busy she couldn't put some fcking ginger bread houses together, she can't even look after her own kids alone.
She's never lived in the real world ever, is extremely lazy, but gets constantly rewarded. Sigh.

so what i’ve learned from vlogmas is:
from all this hard work they’ve done in december they will need to take january off to recuperate, the poor souls.
they ate chocolate poo out of a real potty - now that’s wild
- they are still totally out of touch with reality
- still self-centred, show-off, smug narcs
- still lazy and greedy
- still insufferable
- still exploiting their children
- hygiene is absolutely vile
- diets are absolutely awful (and they feed chocolate to babies)
- they’re still annoying. the way they say whAT? saying everything is ‘soo WILD’. everything is nostalgic. everything is her favourite or they ‘love that’. condescending, posh, stuck up hermione granger voice.

Does anyone else get the impression that Mark is really uncomfortable around kids? Which is totally fine, kids aren't for everyone, but I feel a bit bad because when he's with Zoe he's suddenly forced to join in in intimate moments like bath time, bed time, etc.
I feel like he does enjoy playing with the girls a bit but would probably rather not be so involved with everything else, but I could be wrong. Just something about his body language screams uncomfortable in the past few vlogs where he's been at their house.

Tracey reminds me of that bit in sitcom Motherland where the mum says to her mum "I want my kids to be raised like I was, by you". The grandma in that is always moaning she's being used. But I think Tracey enjoys it, she might just be doing it for Vlogmas as we know it's such stressful work for poor Zalfie, and it looks like all three grandparents that live in the area are retired, even better.
I'd love to know what happened with Zoe and Joe's dad, he was always funny in Joe's videos. But who knows what happened, maybe he was just painting a picture of being the proud dad on social media whilst demanding money off his kids behind the scenes. When youtubers stop mentioning someone who used to be in their videos a lot you don't know if something toxic happened or if it's just a case of that person not wanting to be in content anymore whilst everything's fine behind the scenes.

i don’t think joe would have gone to visit him the other day and be talking about their father/son plans for next year if it were anything nefarious. i think the bloke just likes his privacy
I don't watch Joe anymore, but it's good to hear he's still close with his dad.

I’m watching Zoe’s vlogs does ottie even go to nursery/ school ? Cuz it seems when they’re busy it’s either Tracy or Alfie’s mum that looks after her.

I’ve found his vlogs considerably more engaging than his sister’s, but that is largely down to the Buswells, who seem like a lovely very humble family, and the parents I find very sweet. They seem to get on well with Joe.
Was quite weird on the ice skating video that they said Ottie was too tired to open the book advent as they'd had a late night so Zoe was opening it for her, and they weren't panning the camera to her at first. Just put the poor soul to bed straightaway instead of desperately needing to include that for your bleeping vlog?
There's also been a couple of times Zoe's started talking to the camera/viewers while reading to Ottie, and Ottie's been like "can you keep reading now?", like put your little girl to bed in peace/private without shoving a camera in her face and then cross referencing to the camera...
It also felt a bit uncomfortable when they showed Ottie not wanting to do the ice skating, then were telling the camera about it as if the poor thing wasn't sat there listening to them. It's embarrassing enough having moments like that as a kid never mind it being broadcasted to millions of strangers on the internet.

Anyone got any theories as to why she hates new year? Do you think it’s because everyone’s really motivated and she isn’t, or because Christmas is over and everyone goes back to their normal lives instead of constantly spending time with her family?
