Zoe Sugg #70 Ottie & Dotty, are names that drive you potty

I watch vlogmas but I find myself skipping a lot of their content like endless playing with ottie, bath time, bed time.
Who wants to watch u put your girl to sleep???? Also their question of the day is usually insufferable as they're dumb and can ramble nonsense for a long time.
I enjoy the shopping and decorating parts as it's like living through them cuz let's be honest no one should spend that much money in that small window of time lol

Cant get over the fact how much time she spends to decorate the dolls house.. I get that you want your daughter to enjoy it and make her happy but the passion, and time and effort she puts into it just shows that she's a big toddler and does all this to play with the dollhouse herself.. she even goes into detail about whats her favourite room and her favourite item and how much she loves her childs bed and her room etc.. it's just not normal imo.. she needs real therapy, her mind is stuck in her childhood
I came here to say the same thing! She spent so much time on it BY HERSELF. Would that not have been a fun activity to do with Ottilie? It makes no sense to do it and then present it to the child all finished. I wonder if Novie will get one of her own when she’s a bit older. It’s a pretty special and sentimental gift and I know for two girls close in age it is bound to be a problem in the future if that’s not the case.

The differences in how they treat the girls is already so apparent. They seem to really treat Ottilie like a grown up and Novie is like a fun baby doll they just play with. They seem less concerned with her enrichment and “firsts” than they were with Ottie. Fair that Ottie is older and has had more birthdays/holidays but you’re telling me they couldn’t even get her a first ornament or something with an N on it? She’s a Christmas baby! They even called the playroom “Ottie’s playroom” and not “the girls”. I get that the younger child’s lot in life tends to be hand-me-downs and doubles but I fear the girl is going to grow up feeling like a second fiddle or afterthought.

Also crazy to me they wake up before the sun just to chase the elf on the shelf, do baby talk and then get dressed to go to the garden centre. They have no idea what a morning with toddlers is like when you actually have a purpose and place to be. Also seems like Alfie does the hard part in the morning getting Ottilie ready and then Zoe’s mum tends to always be around in the evening to help at bedtime. Tracey was even at the garden centre with them to help wrangle the girls. But Zoe’s sooo tired she needs caffeinated milkshakes to get through the day.

Yes why not decorate it together I'm sure Ottie would enjoy doing it. Also I'm surprised they didn't get Novie a 'baby's first Christmas bauble' esp with her being boring in December.

I found it so strange when she was showing the new decorations in the kitchen that it was “I wish we started this earlier with O”, no mention of N even though it was her first christmas last year. And then she says “its ok she has ones with an O on it”, no mention of N at all again. They’ve made their life the O show and N is just a prop in it…

Same, I skip through most of the vlog, just so boring. And I would assume im the target audience cause i’m Zoe’s age and have 2 kids that are Ottie and Novie’s ages so we’re in the same stage in life but even to me the vlogs are just too boring to watch through.

Checked in with her for the first time in ages, and all I have to say is that I really hope that Mark actually enjoys spending time with the kids. He arrives, is immediately dragged through the whole house by O, ends up playing with her and holding N, while Zoe and Alfie make dinner and Zoes mum is.. somewhere? It's like when he came over for his birthday (so sad that Zoe didn't make the trip to London for him as far as I can tell?) and played restaurant with O for what seemed like hours. If he does enjoy it, it's great. But he would also be way too polite to say something if he didn't, plus it would probably piss Zoe off because it doesn't fit her 'gay bestie, uncle Mark' vision.
