Zoe Sugg #70 Ottie & Dotty, are names that drive you potty

I get the whole point of the questions at the end is to answer stuff about themselves, but I've never seen people get so much enjoyment out of talking about themselves and analysing their thoughts and behaviours so much the way they do. Or even worse when they get Joe, Poppy, Mark, their employees etc to join in with their best qualities and the "who knows me best" questions.
This is something that baffles me as well. I know they want to keep their content as neutral as possible and don't want to discuss politics. I still think it's weird that they never mention current events, not even in passing. During covid, they would talk about the restrictions all the time because it was something that directly affected them. It seems that they are completely oblivious about things going on in the world and just live in their own little bubble. I wonder how their old friends from school put up with them because they must be totally insufferable.

Zoe and a lot of YTubers from that era have never really had to grow up. They had management form early on who sort out everything for them and they earned a lot of money. Zoe has never been forced to live in the real world, ever. Alfie does a lot with the kids and if he’s not there then her mum or his parents step in. Zoe truly believes she works hard because she’s been told that and has nothing to compare it too. Her parents seem to molly coddle her. When she’s sly towards Dianne it really pees me off, Dianne lives on the other side of the world to her parents, has worked really hard to get to where she is and has more get up and go in her little finger than Zoe does in her whole body. They are so spoiled and out of touch and I do get it must be easy to get used to a life where you are constantly gifted stuff, it’s their normal. I would be overwhelmed and couldn’t cope with the constant stream of stuff, Zoe loves it and hoards it away.

I am watching yesterday's vlog and I'm fuming. They're driving in a car in the middle of a day on a weekday without the kids and they say that they're "definitely not on a date", they're just getting their eyebrows done.

How out of touch are they? Most parents can only dream of having time alone without the kids and if they do, it's definitely a special occasion. For them, it's such an everyday occurrence that they can downplay it like that.

Don't get me wrong, I think it's great that they have grandparents close-by who love spending time with the kids. I just hate the fact that they never acknowledge how privileged they are when it comes to parenting.

Thought of zoe 🤭🤭

All I’ve took from this years vlogmas is how out of touch with reality there are now.

It’s strange that she’s not even embarrassed about never using the Aga. They even have a pizza oven, yet she still orders takeaway pizza. I remember someone giving her a katsu kit to make her favourite curry, and you could just tell she’d never use it. I bet next year they’ll claim they want to scale back work again do they not realise how little they already do?

It's getting a bit ridiculous as she's getting older, i liked my childhood and the late 90s/early 2000s but buying a wrapping paper from that era?? girl what
It’s beyond odd. She has an amazing life here and now, with her partner and two children, the constant need to reminisce about the past and her childhood is seriously not normal. Her therapist needs to quit.
