Morning you lovely lot! Today’s advice from Sub 4 Kels is all about nutrition (I kid you not). Apparently if you’re going to run a marathon, you need to eat carbs. Who knew???? Also, did you know she went sub 4? She’s very humble and probably won’t say much about it …..

that menu would give her diabetes team an absolute meltdown
 
Why is he doing heat adaption? I just checked and the average max temperature in November (mara is Dec 1st) is 19. That's like a pleasant surprise when you get off the plane not the bloody Marathon de sables...
If I remember he was "HA" (knob jockey) for Berlin last year. Was it Berlin? I remember I ran the same race whatever the hell it was and he sat in saunas repeatedly because of the forecast. Which was 18 degrees....🫠
 
This is Valencia’s temperature right now btw you lovely lot. And it certainly is going to be a few degrees lower in 6 weeks.
Is he just trying to satisfy his exercise addiction with hard BS cause he is totally injured and can’t run? It’s week 3 of him not running, another successful block where going ‘all in’ in the first 3 weeks paid off🥇💪

Being honest, 18 is too hot for a race for me but I wouldn’t sit in 2 cagoules to prepare, I’d just moan before, moan during and moan afterwards.

How she can post all that food as being good fuel for a race is beyond me. Are they trolling us? Carbs yes, but the stuff sge was eating won’t help in a race, particularly for her. They are both as thick as each other. I feel this weekend was a fluke.
 
I've bonked badly in a hot marathon being used to train in the 10-15 degrees of the UK weather too, but it's not even going to be 18.
Also heat acclimation needs 2-3 weeks, not months and months :ROFLMAO: , unless you are doing an Ironman in Kona in 30+ degrees, in which case fair enough.

On a second thought, it's rather impossible they'll run Valencia. Tits is badly injured and even if he recovers he will have effectively missed the most important weeks of marathon training (yay stupidity) and Kels has just run a marathon PB. In the best case scenario she will need 2-3 weeks to recover because no matter what she says, that was an all out marathon effort for her. Just more appropriately paced (but still slowed). I can't see her reproducing that in a few weeks.

If you’re right that’s at least £1k wasted in entries, flights and hotel surely?

All those saving pots for the kids or their own pension pots being neglected.
 
Wonder what runnerof4 makes of all the glory hunting from sub 4 kels?! Like runnerof4 has actually won marathons before without all this bigging up of herself. She also finished over an hour ahead of kels at Abingdon with not even a tenth of the shoving it in faces that kels has done 🤣.
Did you all notice she finally got a sub 4 you lovely lot? On athempt number 736?!
