I love my family and my kids, obvs. But I love going on holiday alone and really miss it. Airports are no hassle on your own. Get a coffee, do some window shopping, read a book. Wander to the gate. Lovely.

Absolutely! I don't understand why solo travel is so taboo.
I live alone and absolutely love solo travelling! People act like its the loneliest thing, and I normally avoid the question when people ask who I live with and who I am going away with because when I say that people pretty much demand I explain myself, but I always have such a laugh away solo! I've been approached a few times in airports by American couples asking if I'm famous which is always funny, but then you get the intrigued locals coming over for a chat and inviting you for a gorgeous traditional meal, the date with a Frenchman getting drunk on Champagne, riding through Ancona on the back of a Vespa, getting pissed and the bar tab free with the barmen in Germany. All things which would never happen if you were with your mates, but all memories I love and think back to constantly.

Another one - I don't wanna hear about or see photos of kids im not related to I wish people would stop showing and telling me about their kids because I hate pretending to be arsed

I dislike tattlers talking about themselves instead of the thread topic.
Very unpopular opinion but someone mentioned they had a miscarriage in a thread I read so the next 3 or 4 pages were people replying with sympathy messages to her and heart emojis instead of talking about the topic 🙈. I feel sorry for her but there are thousands of other websites specifically for talking about things like that, instead of a gossip site like this about people in the public eye.

Unpopular opinion and the flipside to a comment a couple of posts ago - I don't care if people are bored by my endless FB or instagram posts with pictures of my cute kid. Plenty of others do enjoy them and if you need it, the unfollow button is right there (and I am sure plenty of people have used it, and that's fine by me!)

Not in any way a dig at the post above because it did actually make me giggle when I read it. I accept I am a baby bore!

No, not at all. The thread was talking about an influencer’s recent youtube vlog then it suddenly turned into a doom and gloom thread full of heart emojis and crying emojis. I felt I couldn't talk about the influencer (the topic of the thread) because it would be rude towards the woman who mentioned she had a miscarriage.

I have several pages to catch up on but I wanted to get this opinion out before I forgot what I was going to say.

Too many people on this site are far too stressed about the daily lives of influencers. This is meant to be a place to discuss holding influencers accountable for their influencing, but all it is is pages and pages and pages of people picking apart every single tiny minute NORMAL thing an influencer does in their daily lives. Often accompanied by “try working 72 hours a day with one leg and 6 kids and half your house on fire like I do” as if that means an influencer can’t watch Netflix on a Saturday? And god forbid one of them includes a packet of crisps or biscuits in their food haul, or go to Starbucks, or pre-film content (which you can tell because you obsessively monitor the nail polish colours). I just find it a bit bizarre. Like, I’m on this site too, so I’m clearly a hypocrite, and I’ve done my fair share of gossiping, but I have to roll my eyes when I see someone torn apart cos she’s bought another mug for her mug collection when she should be single handedly running a soup kitchen or donating all her money to African poverty or something.

Stay at home mums who bang on about how it's a full time job. It's not.

Try raising children (and organising work and life around childcare), working full time and running a home.

It's my choice to work (bills won't pay themselves) and it was my choice to have kids but I do not believe for one minute that being at home with the kids at nursery/school most of the day is more challenging than juggling it all.

1. Irish travellers are not a race.
2. Have you ever actually had any dealings with them? Easy to come out with the above statement when you haven't had to live beside them and have your life made a living misery as many people have

Agreed but I thought they were a race as it gives u the option to tick the box on forms

I know influencers are Tattle's thing, but I've never followed a single one, nor do I know who 99.9% of them are.

I originally only came for the Schofe tea and only created an account so I could see the attachments...but I got addicted so here we are ☕😂

Same here lol. I follow the threads for only 2 influencers. The rest I’m here for celeb gossip and just general wank.

People (usually mums IME) who make being a parent their whole personality.

like I get it’s an important job raising a kid, you love your child, you’re probably very proud of them etc. But some people literally base their personalities on being a parent. Some people have made careers out of it (stacey Solomon, Kerry Katona).

what about a career alongside a child? Hobbies? Aspirations?

I agree! Some people are also far too obsessed with the person they're gossiping about, it borders on weird! Like how people will notice if something has moved in Mrs Hinch's house. Or the conspiracy theories people will have about what is going on with certain influencers. It's weird. Fair enough gossiping about things we actually see and know about but the conspiracies are far too much at times.

People say how good the NHS is but it's bleeping tit. I only realised how fobbed off I was with it and others I know when I moved to Canada. The province I am in has incredible healthcare and I've never felt dismissed by a doctor. You know why it's better? It is universal (doctors visits, hospital, medical treatments) but we pay higher taxes for it...and unless you have benefits through work, you have to pay for the dentist, ambulance calls, optometrist and prescriptions.
