I don’t get an appeal of holidaying in this country, when you can not be guaranteed a good weather. Oh we’ve had a one sunny day or it was ‘pleasant’

Especially a beach holiday. Paying thousands, having to bring your wellies and a rain coat. Or swimming in wet suits. Blustery walk along the beach, meaning got soaking wet and cold to the bone! Don’t mind it in the winter all wrapped up. Otherwise I see no appeal.

And it’s always certain type of people that love holiday at home. ( My in-laws included )

I stick to the Mediterranean beach holiday any day

Lol I had an ex friend like this heavily involved in extinction rebellion. It was always the little comments that drove me nuts. Like I said I wanted a house full of children. "The earth will be dead" or "you travel a lot " when I talked about going home - at most I traveled back to the UK twice a year. Zero during the whole 3/4 of the covid period. He chose not to have a car and now just sticks with UK holidays. Though his tripadvisor map had florida and morocco on it. Doubt he took a boat for either 🧐 . He made a ding about Amazon but when I did go to his he had an amazon package in the hallway/ was also okay with taking an amazon giftcard as a christmas gift and could have rejected it for "ethical reasons".

Handmade or not. Deliberate or not. Covid got out from the lab in wuhan. They had been warned two years prior by the USA that if they did not improve safety protocol then they could cause a pandemic.
China will never be held responsible as they had time to destroy evidence and countries are intimidated by them/don't want to be called racist.
 
I hate fireworks, I judge people who think that because their animal was able to cope then other peoples can and bang on about it on SM like some sort of guru.

It’s usually those who think that ptsd in humans can be sorted with a bit of calming music.
I also hate memorial balloon releases because they kill wildlife and farm animals. Let’s celebrate the life of someone by killing lots of innocent animals.

oh god yes. My gran still slaps it on and has those red lips where everything bleeds into the lines. and you can def wear too much make up. False eyelashes for a trip to Tesco? What I meant was that a bit of mascara, a bit of concealer, a dab of lip gloss will make the plainest face instantly better
 
I hate how girls in smaller cities over do it to try and impress others. Like wtf do people have to dress up in barely any clothes to go to a pub in November! Not forgetting the hair , the lip job and lashes. How do people afford it? Like in central london everyone actually looks more normal and individual at the same time.

Bottomless brunch has become over played now I understand businesses have been struggling but you might as well just buy a bottle of prosecco with your meal.

I'm done with the whole body image thing on Instagram it encourages Eating disorders on both ends of the scale.

I don't think breast removal should be made for non binary either. There are people who need their breasts removed for life saving treatment that should be the priority!
 
My 2 biggest bugbears and very unpopular opinion is:

Women who list ‘full time mummy’ as their bio on social media. Does it that those of us that work are not mams full time once we walk out the door?? Does the mam part just cease as soon as you close the door?

I am also so annoyed when I see ‘mothers should be paid more to stay at home because we are teachers, nurses, childminders, counsellors, etc etc..’
No…you’re a mother - not a fully trained any of the above…therefore, you do not deserve the pay that those that train for the profession get!

Btw…the dads also do all of the above! Oh it riles me!! 🤬🤬
