I've never seen the Greatest Showman and I never plan to
It’s not my kind of thing but I’d not say no to Hugh Jackman

it isn’t about good eggs or bad eggs though.
it’s ingrained cultural differences.
a migrant might be lovely, polite etc. They might be a good egg but ultimately believe that women should be home makers because that’s the norm in their country of origin, that women shouldn’t walk around alone at night and that men and women shouldn’t live together before marriage. This view will likely be inherited to an extent by their children and maybe even their grandchildren. And they will become voters in all likelihood.
that’s a pretty huge contrast to the view women have been fighting for, for themselves for a long time in the U.K.
I use to rent a house next to a south asian family who had 3 kids over 30 living in a tiny three bed semi becuase none of them were married.
I understand the culture but the house was no where near big enough to have 5 adults living in it.
Having a baby with a bloke who won't marry you is a stupid, irresponsible idea.
Or having kids with a man who is useless then spending 18 years moaning about how useless he is. Writing was on the wall.
NOTE. If Niether of you want to be married that's not a problem.
I’ve got to ask, what difference did their living arrangements make to your life?

Nosie and shouting all the time also caught them putting their recycling in my bin once.
So stuff that you can get people of any ethnicity doing?
She never said you couldn't. Stop reaching for racism where there is none.

Why bring it up at all then? This isn't the "moan about neighbours using your bin" thread.

If there’s no racism or at least xenophobia, why mention that they’re immigrants? It’s not a reach at all. Don’t try to dictate to me what I post on a public forum, thanks.
Due to the difficulties getting on to the housing ladder, plenty of families have adult children living at home into their 30s. It’s not unusual.
