When I started reading this I thought straight away about MM. Everything he does is for attention/ manipulation but for the majority of others it’s actually out of desperation or because they’ve not fully gone past the point of no return and can still think rationally enough to know they need to get help and that there are other options.

Yes, same for the labour party which is now the mess of wokness party and Tories in red party (starmer)

Start a new party called the everyman's party or something and concentrate on the issues of normal working people -like the labour party was set up to do.

This is actually a view and argument that triggers me as someone with a hidden disability - accessible toilets and changing facilities are few and far between and account for a very small percentage of the actual facilities stock.

Facilities that took decades of fighting, legislation and funding to be implemented.

And I am fed up with the suggestion that they should be the middle ground while we decide if we need male female accessible CIS Trans facilities.

So where do the people with a medical requirement go when they often need a loo quickly or need more space to deal with continence issues or physical impairments.

Bad enough so many people already abuse them as they are closer or bigger or they can have a pile of mates in with them for a chat.

how often have males or females used a toilet assigned to the opposite gender out of desperation or in error —- just use the cubicles and get on with it

And i know they worked hard during the pandemic, they were on the frontline risking their life but so were doctors and nurses, supermarket workers, factory workers etc and they didn't complain half as much as teachers did!

Teachers and nurses who moan about their hours - nobody put their arms up their backs and frogmarched them into the workplace and told them they had no choice. For YEARS these people have complained about salary, hours, etc it can't of come as a shock to them surely!! Plus my sister-in-law's a teacher, lazy fucker, I never see her marking or working till midnight, I see a lot of drinking and FB posts (under an alias) but not hard work!

What a ridiculous argument. So teachers must work until midnight and are considered lazy if they don’t?

God forbid someone has a social life after working all week!

Public perception and reaction the job is half the reason there’s a recruitment and retention crisis.

But coz everyone’s been to school they think they know best🙄🙄🙄
 
I think teachers are given a bad rep by the media, but they do themselves no favours.

My uncle is a teacher, he was having to teach key workers kids in class and the at home kids via video link and send work home. So their work load did increase.

But all the bleating on about how they shouldn't have to return to the classroom and they needed protection, was a bit rich considering supermarket workers worked through the whole thing.

They also moan about how hard they work and how much marking they have and lesson planning, but I'm pretty sure they'd get a massive shock to the system if they tried working in some other industries.
 
I keep seeing small businesses posting things like the below. I do get the sentiment, how ever it goes both ways, many customers will also be struggling to make ends meet due to the cost of pretty much everything rising. If an increase in prices means some people can no longer afford to shop at the local business then tough i’m afraid. I won’t be made to feel guilty about shopping where I get the best value for my money. It’s not the customers responsibility to keep any business afloat.

It is shame but I will going where I can afford. I’m not going to be paying over the odds for anyone
 
My UO today is that girls should not be allowed to join the Cubs and Scouts. When my boys were little there was tons of girls in the Cubs with them and it annoys me!! They have Brownies and Guides! Let lads have their own club! It really used to annoy me, and my boys that there were girls at what I’d sold to them as a boys only club! Of course the argument is that boys can join the Brownies and Guides but let’s be realistic… they don’t!! Really fucks me off that different genders or sexes or whatever the duck they’re called these days can’t be separated for fear of being accused of not being inclusive! 🙄

That's absolutely awful, and it's not surprising. The thing is they pick off the most vulnerable people in the hope of catching them out. If you know the system they can't really do that to you... I certainly wasn't defending them. People I know had terrible experiences, and mine have been OK thank goodness but I may well be lucky.
Really feel for anyone sick and unwell as I'm in that situation. The dwp are flawed and such a huge entity that nobody within it knows what's going on.

Lots of peoples kids are poorly behaved and it’s getting worse. Parents that stick up for their feral children and don’t discipline them should be slapped

I didnt realise they were gendered? My kids (boys) are with beavers, i always thought it was a mixed thing
