UO, I hate that people can block/ignore you on tattle. Often times it takes away from the discussion if people are commenting and you think where the hell did that come from.
What's the point in that? Just scroll past the posters that are disagreeable. I tend not to engage with people who are bursting blood vessels in rage over Meghan Markle marrying poor ickle Haz, but I don't block them, sometimes their angry claims about her can be quite funny.

I think there are a lot of young people on here who have yet to develop conversational skills. THAT or they are over zealous "fan girls" who dislike if you say anything negative about their YT/Instagram heroes but cannot back up their reasoning with a logical reply. Their quips and replies are laden with emotion

I had a "discussion" with such a person last week. Her response to me was "your opinion is wrong" I had to give her the definition of the word opinion.

I actually like a healthy / respectful debate; that's how you learn things 🤷‍♀️

There is a lot of people i don’t agree with or like on this forum and just read their posts and think you’re a bumhole , but i don’t understand why you would block people on a forum? After all arent you on here to have discussions and see other views? Thats what makes forums interesting. If I only wanted to see things I agreed with then i’d talk to myself 🤣

unless someone is actively rude or ignorant eg racist etc then i dont see why you would.

Agreed. The only time I've ever blocked anyone online is if they've posted spam or act really strange.

I'd never block someone just because I disagree with them. Kind of defeats the object of a discussion board.

This forum is quite light regarding heavy topics anyway, don't see many disagreements. I'd actually like to have more at times. I don't go in many of the celeb or influencers threads though and imagine they can get quite dicey with the superfans or superhaters.

UO: there is absolutely no harm is reserving sun lounges with towels on holiday. I love the drama of it. I love racing the Germans in their Speedo’s and socks and sandals to the best lounges at the crack of bird tit.

(& I don’t mean reserving beds then going out all day. That’s wrong. I like to reserve a bed, go for breakfast then lay on said bed all day like a smug slob)

You'd think that but one of the regulars on this thread has either blocked me or ignored me and she is on the "older" side (anything from 40 - 80). Anyway I often agree with her but also often disagree with her but she clearly doesn't like it. In fairness I can be a bit of a troll if I know somebody is going to bite. If I'm ignored I just float of like a fart in the wind, taking my stench with me

Can you tell if someone ignores you? I’d love to know if I’ve pissed anyone off lol.

My family had a week long squabble with someone who tried to reserve a sun lounger once. I have to have a sun lounger with a back on it because I am (quite clearly) physically disabled. We were in a resort which didn’t have many loungers w/ a back at the pool. Only like, one or two. Had a sun lounger fitted w/ a back for one week, cracking. Next week went down, put things on the same sun lounger. Oh tit forgot rubber ring. Turned around to get it from hotel room, literally five minutes not ‘reserving this all day but never being there’ like a twit. Stood on balcony to see a new family arrive who just whacked all the towels, sun cream etc off the sun lounger and dragged it away, replacing it with a backless lounger. Oh Jesus. My mother, who is a mouthy cow, bit like Madge off of Benidorm, absolutely bollocked this family. It was embarrassing I did consider if I could drown myself in the kiddie pool highly amusing the entire family gave us evils for the rest of the week, like proper evils, the dad was sat opposite me at dinner once and I had the fear he was going to slingshot peas into my face with his knife or something, and yes we did get up at the arse crack of dawn to get to the sun lounger before those thieving bastards could for the rest of the week as well, you snooze you lose innit huns ;)

(Ahem. This isn’t an unpopular opinion cos I agree!!! Oooh it is a thrill. Why do the Germans wear socks and sandals? I think they look minging together.)

We have French Canadians, coming down on vacation, frightening our children on crowded beaches by wearing (I kid you not) socks, sandals AND BANANA SLINGS! 🤢
