I’m sick of people posting pictures of their manky positive LFT’s and bragging about having Covid as if it’s this huge drama and they’re at deaths door when they're clearly not. It’s like people want to test positive so they can post on socials and get lots of sympathy and attention. Covid has become like the cold at this point, just stay in bed for a few days and shut up. It’s not a big deal for most people. So bored of it now.

If they're that ill they'd be in bed sleeping or too poorly to hold their phones - same as these insta-influencers posting pictures of drips in their arms, who cares, other than your family and a few close friends nobody gives a tit about your health.

I blocked one on the Katie Price thread as he was obviously a liar and it became tedious his 'inside information' that was bullshit, far easier.
 
I don’t think trans people who have transitioned from men to women should be allowed to use womens public gym showering rooms, bathrooms and dressing rooms. I know I will receive hate for this because everybody will be ‘offended’ but it’s just how I feel as a young woman. I don’t have anything personal against transgenders.

Yes I think there should be “CIS” mens, “CIS” womens and gender neutral options available. I understand trans women not feeling safe in a mens bathroom, and I wouldn’t want anyone to feel unsafe going about their daily business - but by the same stretch this also applies to biological women, why should they feel unsafe to appease the trans women?

I have no problem with those who have properly transitioned but those who just put on a dress and bad makeup.. go do one

I hate that word.

We should have men, women and GN for those who cant make up their minds
 
Some teachers make themselves out to be victims far too much. They absolutely do work hard, but so does everyone else! I'm sure having the holidays every 6 weeks help a bit, most jobs don't get that.

And i know they worked hard during the pandemic, they were on the frontline risking their life but so were doctors and nurses, supermarket workers, factory workers etc and they didn't complain half as much as teachers did!

There are already accessible toilet/changing facilities in place almost every public place. Trans people who are not comfortable using the facilities for their own sex can use those. Where is the issue? It’s not as if trans women need the sanitary bins.
 
I think the solution to the trans issue is to just give them women. It's what they want and we (actual women) can not win without looking like bigots. They've got us on the back foot.

We can then start our own catagory, we'll be vaggies, we'll have sport and changing rooms and health care just for vaggies, and you can only be included if you have been born with a vagina. We also set the parameters now and have it put into law that vaggies can only be people born with vaginas, that way they can't infiltrate again.

We only look like bigots if we allow others to control an identity we were born with.

Remember, the individuals who are now attempting to take over our identity are the same sex who have manipulated our existence since the dawn of time.

Nah they'll try and take that too. The parameters need to be strongly defined, otherwise they can use mental gymnastics and terf accusations to enter. Women is an adult human female, they can be women if they say they are, therefore they can be female, pepper that with some bullshit about people with intersex conditions and they stolen female too.

That's why you start something new, something they can't hijack, some thing with strong parameters that they can't wriggle into. Vaggies, people born with vaginas. Not born with a vagina, sorry you can't come in.

I agree, my view is tell me when you're dead. Then I'll decide whether or not to take the day off to attend your funeral or go for a pizza instead.

Same as that, but we can’t really expect staff in leisure centres etc to perform genital checks could you imagine 🤣🤣.

When I was a kid I remember a transgender used to always come and use the womens bathroom at the swimming pool and no one really cared but she was the only one on our very large estate and we all knew her, so I guess she was trusted. I doubt she’d had the op as this was 20+ years ago.

I also hate the term CIS but I was trying to find a polite term for I differentiate and I’m not very PC or up on what terms are ok this so thought CIS would be the safest bet.

I think this method should be used in other situations too :D
Let the climate extremists be called greens and then greens called something else so their sensible issues can be dealt with without being tarnished anymore and no more infiltrating 😄
 
I think it's shocking that so many people view suicide attempts, or talking about wanting to commit suicide, as "manipulative" or "emotional blackmail" and don't even consider the person might actually be desperate. Obviously, some people really do repeatedly threaten suicide in order to get attention/get others to do what they want - the Marcus Mitchell thread is an example of that. But generally, it is something that should be taken seriously and not written off as manipulation

👏👏👏 Exactly this. Take a look at the Gender thread on Tattle, so refreshing to hear a sensible discussion for a change.

My UO is there's so much 🐂💩 around these days....
