Who said I'm not Maybe I'm refusing to say so due to identity here. When the home office raid your home at 6am scaring the tit out of your children to check your marriage is genuine, then being dragged to Liverpool for interviews regarding it, having to work 2 jobs to meet that threshold giving up your first shot at your education and fight tooth and nail for 4 years and study every option in the book and every route to find a way to save your family unit and be able to get on with life, which means i get to know these things and how the system works then you can tell me im wrong and you can compare my experience in living it to yours yea 'cause your an immigrant unlike me' I might not be an immigrant but I'm the married partner of one the one above I'm telling you about. .is me so next time think before you speak

Your story has changed so now it is unbelievable. But on top of that I didn’t say none of it was true. I said half of it is BS

Like I said I lived it mate. I don't need anyone to believe it the only people I had to convince were the Home Office and I did. Hence my other half is now a British Citizen after 2 2.5 year visa renewals an ILR then 10 year passport. But Aye no bother😄

So if you went about it the correct way then what are you complaining about?
I don’t see anything wrong with the system. People just think they and their families shoud be exempt from it.
All immigrants know the rules and what needs doing. Nobody is above having to jump through hoops but that is the cost for having an amazing life in the UK.
It shouldn’t be easy for people

And how about those kids who live with both parents. Both mum and dad are highly educated. One parent is a high earner and the other parent left because child care costs are ridiculously expensive and outweighed a part timers salary. But never claim benefits.

Are we assuming all people who don't work are setting their child up for a failed life? Or just those on the dole?
Exactly, it's classisum.

I gave up my career and my husband pays the bills, we can't claim anything, I'm seen as a good mum because I sacrificed holidays abroad a nice car and my career to be a full time mum

But if you can't work because you have two preschoolers and youre only qualified to make minimum wage and dad fucked off so you have no choice but to claim, then your a fecklrss human being who is damaging your kids.

When you have preschool kids not working is not always a choice.

Pre school kids benefit from having one full time carer. Id rather mums were at home with their babies then forced to work to pay the bills. Childcare should be valued.

I see a lot wrong with the system. My own case being an example. The first time we applied the income threshold was £18,600 at the time I was at uni and I was working and was only earning £17k which wasn't enough, the problem was my other half was on a post study visa after completing their masters and was offered a job with a very high salary of 60k, however they wouldn't employ him until he got his spouse visa. The issue was the Home Office left us in a catch 22. They wanted him to earn the minimum threshold so he could prove he was contributing to society and able to sustain himself. Due to them not giving him a visa he wasnt able to work, so the catch 22 they left us in was that they wouldn't give him the visa because he didn't meat the 18.6k threshold however he had a job waiting which required the visa. If they gave him the visa he would have met the threshold and then some. Hence I had to take a second job and work 60 hours into the ground sustaining us both while he sat doing nothing with his masters degree and due to it I had to give up university to work 2 minimum wage jobs. Apparently the home office favoured me working 2 minimum jobs instead of graduating to work one high paid salary job as a teacher. That's one example why the system is fucked, making it difficult for those who are doing it right but to us what seemed like at the time, letting one self employed taxi driver bring half of kashmir to live with him that what's wrong here.

You’re view is distorted. It weren’t a catch-22. If they company really wanted him they could’ve applied for a working visa for him.
I re-iterate. All immigrants know what the system is and how to go about it. The government has a whole site dedicated to employers who offer working visas

I have a lot of respect for SAHM’s. I couldn’t do it. But who is supposed to foot the bill?

The death penelty is not a deterrent, see America.

So do we execute people who we deem not compatible with society, serial killers, mass murderers, child abusers, what about terrorists, crimes of passion, gangsters?

Who decides what criminals can live and which die? It's all gets a bit eugenics.

I do think that there are people that can't be rehabilitated and arnt compatible with society, all sadists and sex criminals. They need to be separated from their potential victims. But I don't think prison is the answer. Put those fuvkers to work, but locked away from everyone else.

People who CHOOSE to have dozens -- ok, maybe not a dozen but 4+ -- children and rely on their older children to raise the younger ones. Your older children are NOT parents, YOU ARE. Your older children are not emotionally or cognitively mature to handle the responsibility of being a caretaker. They are STILL developing and need YOU to help them navigate this world. Stop being lazy breeders and take responsibility for your own actions. It's NOT cute. It's NOT adorable. It's 🤬 disgusting. And I only hope that when your back is turned the older kids do not take out their frustrations on the younger kids ... because THAT (ladies and gentlemen) is a REAL threat.

The government work visa site is not fit for purpose. In a professional capacity I have lost the best by far candidates for a couple of roles because of visa restrictions (in a specialty that is hard to find the appropriate skillset from UK candidates).

I’ve also been a SAHM both when my kids were younger and more recently and neither time have I claimed anything for it (other than the free childcare hours after a certain age) so in my case the bill has been firmly footed by us as a family.

We need a happy medium. Kids need to be taught about responsibility and how to fend for themselves. So many who have no idea how to even cook or shop having babies, Society has become too dependent on others helping them.

When I was a young mum (18) I could cook, clean, budget, do running household repairs, grow food mend and alter clothes. I wasn't unique it was just how things were. Yes I did look after younger children , I didnt feel put apon it was just how it was.
Did I have too much responsibility probably yes. but now we have gone a full u turn and so many today are not given any responsibilities and it shows.

Is the death penalty only in certain states in the US? Some of the decision is made purely by location.

I know, but my point is in places like Texas where you can be executed for drug dealin (or could at one point anyway) people still commited crimes. It's not a deterrent. Harsh punishment does not stop crime. Countries that focus more on rehabilitation have less crime.
