I'm still waiting for AF It will be five months on Thursday since the first day of my last period (very heavy which lasted around three weeks. Never had anything like it) I'm so confused. Faint lines on tests meant nothing apparently according to the sonographer she couldn't see anything and they scanned after faint lines in case was five months. The midwife said you could be four weeks or 19. But I'm not sure if they looked at my tubes and they didn't mention rescanning in case it was too early to see anything..im literally baffled. Especially as I thought I felt a popping feeling about five or six weeks ago and wondered if it was ovulation or implantation I have never felt it before I was just watching TV. I'm so so baffled. I know someone asked if I thought the pregnancy tests were showing that I was ovulation but surely if that was the case it wouldn't keep giving faint lines for weeks?

I'm going to try and get in the doctors next week after half term. If I'm not having periods I can't be ovulating so therefore can't get pregnant surely.
 
Thank you for all of your suggestions about what I could get for my sister who is trying to TTC. She called me in tears and called me a cow (and a lot more rude things that I won’t repeat here 🤐🤬) when I got us the spa day and said I would take their toddler for a weekend so that they can go away for a weekend without the ball of energy that she is… I THINK it was a success 😂 ❤️
 
Month 8 of trying for number 2 - i had food poisoning last week but am still nauseous and barely eating... so I wondered if I was pregnant as i felt just like this during my first pregnancy. Even though I knew we only managed the deed once before I got sick, and the sickness started way too early to be related to pregnancy, I was still disappointed to see the negative test.
 
A question for those who are more experienced with OPK than me!

I’ve had the following results (stronger test line was yesterday). Premom app is interpreting it as being low LH but LH levels seem to be lower today. Could it have been that yesterday was my peak? I always test with full morning bladder (even though times may change)

I would say yes but keep testing for couple more days to be sure. Have you had other symptoms like EWCM?

This was my Premom before I got a BFP, it didn’t show a peak but the 0.56 was it. It’s a great indicator but not definitive obviously.

I was out with my friend, who has a toddler, on Saturday. We were in a nice restaurant and next to us was a couple who looked to be on a date. Anyway, I was talking to her about TTC and the topic got to discharge. We completely forgot where we were and were talking really loudly about this subject for a good few minutes. Felt so sorry for the couple next to us trying to have a romantic meal :ROFLMAO:

I think you probably peaked on CD14 but in the eve so you missed it. You probably have rapid onset - I always test two/three times a day when I think I'm going to reach my peak.
 
Thank you both for your responses! Second cycle since coming off contraception and monitoring ovulation - just trying to understand my body after c10 years of no menstrual bleeding. Had no idea how short/long my cycles were l. I’ve not been monitoring EWCM but planning on doing so next cycle.
 
I’m normally a standard 28 day cycle but for some reason this month I ovulated way later than normal, currently on day 32 / 11dpo, my temp had dropped like a stone when I checked this morning which usually signals shark week is imminent, but driving home from the supermarket today I had nausea appear out of nowhere, no obvious sign of illness just very queasy. Got a spare red dye test out and it’s the most negative neg you’ve ever seen in your life, and I feel a little deflated now 😔
 
Stupid question... when testing for ovulation and identifying the peak, that then means ovulation is expected in the next 24-36 hours right? So if you've peaked you then have time to DTD? Or are you meant to be DTD as soon as you peak?

I think it's anytime between 12 and 36 hours after. And the most likely day to conceive is the day before ovulation so it's a lot of shooting in the dark until you can confirm it or have a regimented cycle. I'd DTD the day off and both days after to maximize chances.
 
Hi all, I wondered what you thought about this? I’ve been feeling off for a few days, boobs so sore I can’t even touch them and that anxjojs nausea feeling. This line came up at exactly 5 minute point though and I know that clearblue are notorious for EVAP’s. I get paid on Monday so can’t afford a FRER til then!

I think I see a line but I am not any sort of an expert on these things!

You don’t need first response. Any red dye 10mlu sensitivity should do it. Savers and b&m do them for £1 or if you have Amazon prime you can get a 10 pack of strips for about £2 for Saturday. 🤞🏼
 
Does everyone test for ovulation with the first wee of the day? I thought that was not advisable as it’s very concentrated?

I’ve been testing with around my second wee of the day after having a drink just to make sure it isn’t too concentrated. I don’t know if it makes a huge difference but I did read not to test with your first morning wee

I do the same. Got my peak this afternoon but can’t do anything until tomorrow.
