So the website she uses had a option to keep all of the proceeds of the merch as a fundraiser for people who need it. It looks as though she has set it up for herself and declared it as raising awareness for cancer which is shown in the screenshots. This is why I think at least a small token gesture should be made for others/families where cancer has impacted their lives.

990 Sold 😲😲😲
At 44.99 dollars each... ?!

Only earnt herself almost 45k - is that just that one item?

DEFINITELY agree that she could donate a portion of her merch sales if she doesn't already!

Ok it looks like her total sales are 990 across the whole range but even so, if all of those were the lowest cost item it's still 24k

The tie die sweat shirts are really expensive

I never understand who buys this tit. It's the most generic crap, not even unique phrases or designs.

I think it’s cuz it pulls at your heart strings, in the beginning I really wanted to buy one I didn’t even want the T-shirt just wanted to support her.. if she set up a go fund me for a second opinion I would defo contribute.. unfortunately the proceeds wouldn’t go to her treatment because she doesn’t advocate for herself and is in complete denial about her situation.

It would be nice if she said, ‘if you buy a sweatshirt it gives me an income’ or something. I think people should be transparent and it might even result in more sales for her.
Bear in mind she will almost certainly have had critical illness cover on her mortgage, so that is probably paid off.
Blimey, no wonder they're always buying expensive stuff!!!!! That's one hell of an income from sweatshirts. I do think they should be grateful to the people who buy them - they should express that gratitude, I mean.

Yes, to the extent that one can competently advocate for oneself, by all means do so. Speaking up effectively can bring about some positive good in one's lives. And that is a very subjective standard. There are those who are in the field of solicitors and advocates who are trained and tasked with speaking up for others. Many professionals in other areas of expertise do that, in the form of consultation.

Tiffany is blissfully oblivious.

A lot of people seem angry and confused because they think you either have cancer or don't. Some types are more like a chronic condition where you need to live with constant monitoring or adjustment of treatment.

A quick Google search reveals that Tiffany is most likely in "partial remission" which also applies to her type of cancer AND the treatment she received. This means there is no sign of active disease at the time and the tumour is still there but has not grown. If there are still zero changes after 4 weeks then the patient can be declared in full remission, although this doesn't necessarily mean they are cancer free. This probably explains why both the oncologist and surgeon feel it makes most sense to wait a bit, and she will possibly get the good news in 6 weeks (4 weeks by now).

These are a few other points that people are confused about but are pretty easy to decipher if you've been watching her for a while:

- They apparently found something suspicious in her lungs in the first hospital, however an ensuing scan at the Marsden showed it was not cancer. There probably is a nodule or some tiny lesion and she was referring to this in the last video. However this wasn't fully explained and made it sound far more serious to those who missed the original lung vids.

- How did she go from inoperable tumour not responding to chemo & radiation to NED? The most likely theory is that the scans done after radiation showed the tumour was still there and hadn't shrunk. This was what caused the urgency for surgery. However the tumour might ALREADY have been scar tissue at that point but they had no way of knowing. This is why the team wanted to run PET, MRI and biopsies. The biopsies obviously came back showing it was scar tissue so that alleviated the urgency for surgery.

- The surgeon agreed on the surgery BEFORE she got C.Diff. She was incredibly ill during that time which probably played a role in his decision that delaying the surgery (in light of no active cancer) might be wise. In the first video about not having surgery, I assumed the surgeon may have gotten cold feet as a result of the C.Diff infection but the later videos showed this has reasonable medical indications as well.

A few things that are being glossed over is that she is earning very well with her channel and merchandise. Socialblade numbers are usually in the middle of the range so around $3500 a month ad revenue, plus merch on top. She almost definitely earns more than the job as an optometrist but at the same time, good for her. She works incredibly hard putting videos out while being very ill or in hospital and deserves further respect for not taking on sponsorships. Literally nobody wants to see a product placement or Hello Fresh discount code during a video about cancer scans, and there's plenty of that on YouTube as well.

If all goes well, and truly hoping this for her, her channel will just run on as everyday vlogs with the occasional checkup. In 4 weeks they'll probably tell her she's in full remission because the tumour hasn't changed so that will be a big celebration video. It honestly seems unlikely that there will be need for surgery, as the surgeon also mentioned if the cancer comes back as stage 4 then there's no point operating.

She did actually do a Hello Fresh ad in one of her YouTube reels. Mercifully she then didn't do another one. The fact that she clearly lists a business email address tells me that she's always intended to earn as much as possible via YouTube. I think that's fine, but I don't like the fact that she covers this all up under the 'we're all one big loving family' banner.

We all hope things go well for her but what annoys me about the situation is Tiffs blasé attitude and putting all her faith in doctors and god (don’t get me started) instead of researching, being proactive e.g start go fund me for alternative treatments/ second opinions… the worrying thing is the t4b tumour that she was having chemo to slow it down not cure until surgery but now they are happy to wait based on biopsy results?! To me that is leaving far too much to chance and if after the 6 week wait she’s palliative it’s going to be so sad… also if shes in remission after 6 weeks how can she relax knowing there is a tumour inside her that could potentially spread cause more problems down the line.., if it were me I’d want it sorting ASAP not left to chance this is her life at stake.

Also, you make valid points however all your information comes from Tiff, who isn’t a reliable narrator, she doesn’t understand or remember what dr says, doesn’t ask important questions. She’s in serious denial and I just hope she’s not burying her head in the sand when she should be being proactive is saving her life.

I believe that we are all rooting for her, and most of us know cancer. All here because we want to be able to speak our opinions, without being ticked off, blocked and deleted. Nobody's got the time to be angry for more than a sec, annoyed maybe for more than 2, confused definitely is a given. We are all just wondering about the grapefruit size mass still embedded in her, pain and weakness she's having, the obvious weight loss. Her silliness is making me giddy with fear for her.

Yes, I lost my grandma to cancer, so I spent a lot of time as a teen helping her, especially when it came back and spread.

Tiff scares me as well.
