I would say Tiffany needing constant parental support and other people chaperoning her to appointments etc is not typical in the UK. I’m 38, nearly 39 so obviously older than Tiffany but I didn’t have parents at doctors appointments or any medical appointments beyond probably the age of 16/17 - and I went off to festivals and visiting people all over the UK in my own car when I was 17, moved out at 18 into my own flat share - paid my rent/bills etc on my own with money I earned from my job etc and I’m my experience that’s pretty typical. I do find it odd that she’s so babied - can she not drive? Is that why she gets driven everywhere by other people?
I believe that I have read here that she wasn’t allowed to drive because of the neuropathy of her legs due to the chemo. Has had something to do with insurance.

Me too, and my siblings. Id not want my parents at my appointments. I'm an adult.
Tiffany can drive, she says she cant because she has neuropathy in her feet from chemo.

Yes saw it, a drama going on over there
A drama going on, on a post announcing the passing of someone. Imagine Moniques parents reading all that absolute drivel.

She's 30 years old, I wouldn't take my mother either to the hospital when I was 30 or younger. I like my privacy; But it's different for everyone and that's fine. I couldn't live with my mother in the same house either, and Tiffany seems to have no problem with that (and Matt). But I think in their cas it's a matter of money??
I was under the impression that Tiffany is paying for the house. It’s hers, not her mum’s. I think that’s quite an accomplishment at 28 or how old she was when she bought it.

I'm thinking maybe Tiffany regressed? She used to do everything herself before this.

She also owns that house, she bought it by herself in her mid-20s (based on her old videos), which is a good accomplishment.

She went off to uni alone, lived alone for years. Had her own car, money and a good career. That doesn't sound like someone who relies on people's. She worked in denristry, and used to organise Everingham for her patients. I don't think she was babied before this.

She says herself she bought the house. She had a good paying job before this.

Her mom sold her that house on a very reasonable price. Maybe Amma pays for groceries, or pays rent, who knows... 28 is normal age to buy a house where I live, many people buy even much younger. I bought my first house when I was 22 and just started to work.

Yes Romme, what a lovely girl and much younger than Tiffany. Yes independent and self sufficient because she is not pampered but honestly I prefer Amma than Romee’s mother. She should have accompanied her young daughter with cancer to hospital visits and treatments, not Romee’s friends. I found that odd.

I agree it's different for everyone, I can understand both scenarios. It really just depends on the person.

I doubt Tiffany's haemoglobin is good. She has been bleeding for months and we don't know if anything has been done about that. She must be severely anemic.
But it’s the Marsden this is not a bush hospital in the depths of the jungle they do regular blood tests and would do something if she is anemic or if the blood test/haemoglobin levels are catastrophic, wouldn’t they …?

How long ago was that???

About a month ago she started to drive again. Well, at least she took the car out in a video with her brother in law and sister to see how it went. I wouldn't say she wasn't allowed to drive, someone correct me if I'm wrong, I thought she was just concerned about it since she can't feel her feet since her treatment. Others encouraged her to start driving again in the comments, and so she went out with them for a test drive to see how she felt.

Agree....things took a real pivot when she became unwell. I don't know about the dentistry but she did become an optometrist and even had her own business for some time. Family is so important in her culture so likely always close to her family but definitely was independent at one point. From the videos it seemed that was quite a renovation project that she undertook with the house and it looks very nice today.

Good for you. The majority of people rent in their 20s. No, it's not normal. On average, the UK house buying age is 33- 35.

Yeah thats right, she said she completely renovated the house. Even the doors and plugs were refixed. So it wasn't a little job. It doesn't seem like she relied on others.

Side note, I think her aunt and uncles house is gorgeous, when she showed it in her vlog a while ago. They also renovated it themsleves too.
