okay but morphine would cause her to be unfit to drive and impair her driving from what we've seen when she's on it. the best bet is for someone to ask their doctor.

I agree. Some might be projecting due to the type of relationship they have with their own mom, but If you're close to your mom as a daughter you'd defintely want them with you at any age. It's your mom ffs. That bond is strong if it's a good relationship.
It literally stipulates in the UK government guidelines I’ve posted that she can drive while using morphine. It’s lawful. Obviously if someone was off their face and in an unfit state then yes of course they shouldn’t drive. But using morphine doesn’t legally stop someone from driving here.

Yes it’s the same in France . She definitely could drive … And don’t you have any good transportation system to go to the Marsden ? in Paris everybody go by train/subway/tube whatever you call that … London is very large so maybe it’s a bit more complicated and Tube/ train is very expensive but a car as well …
The RM hospital is in the Chelsea area of London. Served by many tubes and buses. You can get off the tube at South Kensington and it’s a 5min walk to the hospital.

yes I get it. legal drugs are fine to drive as long as you're not affected by them to a point you are unable to drive.

it's very hard for some people after treatment to get back home though because they are weak or sick. jfc some people are not as tough physically as others. can we agree on that?

I don't think it's weird her Mum goes with her. Yeah she's 30, but cancer is bleeping terrifying and noone should be mocked or judged for having someone there to support them and help them get through it. Hospitals are horrible places for most and having someone you love to focus on isn't a bad thing. We are too stoic in the UK and expect everyone to bottle it all up and it's not healthy.
Exactly! Just think of all the vision problems she used to experience right after treatment. She really needed someone at her side after treatments.

Woah - easy! I wasn’t making any kind of comment at all about peoples ability to travel home! Jesus! I was literally just saying that the hospital is easy to get to! Flipping heck, have a day off!

But it’s the Marsden this is not a bush hospital in the depths of the jungle they do regular blood tests and would do something if she is anemic or if the blood test/haemoglobin levels are catastrophic, wouldn’t they …?
Bloods are taken at every consultation and are monitored. To say Tiffany is def anemic and nothing is being done about it is nonsense. If Tiffany was anemic something would be done. Just because someone bleeds regularly, doesn't automatically mean they are anemic.

Not in any of the 50 states in the US. Nothing that can or does impair you, your reflexes or judgement is allowed. If you get pulled over you can get a DUI, Driving Under Influence.
UK allows you to operate a vehicle under morphine?

A ml or two of Oramophe isn't going to impair driving. My husband needs 60mg slow release morphine every 12 hours and 5ml Oramorphe every few hours. He drives perfectly safe, infact he is one of the few people I feel safe with as a passenger. It's not illegal in the UK. Tiffany isn't in the US

It was good seeing Tiffany out of bed and rejoining her family in the real world. She has every right to sulk indoors after everything she's been through, but it clearly wasn't good for her mentally or physically.

I did laugh my ass off when she mentioned how Darling said she'd still be the same old Tiffany even after surgery because she'd still love "tea, cuddles, and being cozy." LMFAO could he not think of any adjectives to describe her?
