I disagree with some comments. The contestants knew there was still at least one Traitor otherwise who killed Andrea? There was no logical way both Wilf and Kieron could have won the show.

Kiran played a blinder and I think Aaron and Hannah knew straight away they needed to get rid of Wilf.

Merly won by sure luck.

Wilf described the two ways he could win

1. Throw Kieran under the bus and hope they end the game

2. Work with Kieran to get Meryl out first. She's a faithful so then get Aaron out next. Then you're left with one faithful (Hannah) and two traitor's so the Traitors win overall and split the money!

Iā€™m only on episode three - and not read all of the thread (Iā€™m quite far behind).
I donā€™t know if I will continue with watching this, it seems too acted / scripted. I seem to recognise almost everyone - have they all done reality TV at some point? First dates or Come Dine With Me or whatever?
It feels like fake reality TV - like TOWIE or something šŸ˜µā€šŸ’«šŸ¤Ŗ

A few of them have done some TV work but don't let that put you off. It's worth sticking with it....very much so!

I always thought that the traitors had the upper hand but on reflection whilst ever there was more than one traitor it always came down to them 100% trusting each other and working together. If Kieran hadnt accepted (which he really had no choice) then Wilf would have more than likely won. If Wilf hadnā€™t helped get rid of Amanda and they worked together right to the end I think they would have won. The moment there is any suspicion between them the faithfuls are given clues (unless your Meryl šŸ˜‚).

I am now on episode 4 - and even more convinced that itā€™s all acted. The over the top emotions and bizarre body language.
Nobody speaks over each other - nobody stumbles over their words. Iā€™ve seen better acting on Prisoner Cell Block H.

And everyone so upset about lying - when lying is crucial to the game.
Alex and Tom were never a couple - zero chemistry. Stilted conversation between them and awkward hugging - I feel insulted if the bbc think that I believe that this real.

I recognise more than half of them form previous TV. Iā€™m annoyed that I have watched four episodes.

Completely disagree

This was a brilliant show, and it has been an enjoyable thread to follow and take part in.

Now I shall return to the slating threads of Lazy & Creepy (thanks for your sacrifices @thegreencow !), Teethy Green Goblin with her mafia wannabe family and her little legs fiancƩ, and the occasional dip into the deluded vlogging family living in a fantasy with 4 unwanted children (of various genders depending on the time of day) and six even more unwanted dogs.

What threads do you normally partake in?

There was no doubt from the round table that Wilf was going to go. I did always wonder why other traitors didn't leave clues earlier when they were voted off.

With a few tweaks this could be better than Big Brother.
I really think in future series that traitors can vote against each other to be banished, but should be explicitly forbidden from leaving incredibly obvious clues like Kieran did.
Taking away the personalities of who did or did not deserve to win, I think it undermines the brilliance of the whole series. Where do you draw the line of how obvious to make who is a fellow traitor?

I disagree. The show is called The Traitors, surely betrayal and backstabbing is entirely the point, even if it is among the traitors themselves. If I was a traitor who had just been stabbed in the back by a fellow traitor, I would absolutely do the same thing Kieran did. Surely it's the whole basis of the show.
