Laurens Van Der Post, who was Charles long term advisor also had an affair with a 13 year old girl, who became pregnant when he was well into his 40's. Charles knew him long after this had happened.
 
So what do we actually know about Saturday so far?

Harry will be in a suit but the others will be in a military uniform #awkward

The coffin will be delivered by land rover 😳 is it to be a burial, does anyone know?

Will the Queen address nation? I can't see that happening on Saturday.
 
Harry can’t salute Phils coffin he and Andrew will bow whilst the others will salute , Anne Charles and Edward and all the extended guys can salute.

I asked the same question if she will address the nation but I don’t think she will, I’ll be suprised if she does.

I reckon if they have a memorial then maybe she will release one around that time.

I also read 6 of Philips closest aides will walk behind the coffin but not attend the service.

Thursday is when we find out who’s attending i think.

He will be buried in the royal vault and when the queen dies they will be buried in the George VI memorial chapel together.

I wonder how much we will see on Saturday. Will they show the congregation. During Diana's funeral I believe they didnt show the royal family themselves.

I hope they do not film The Royal Family during the actual service.
When all said and done, they are saying farewell to a beloved family member and imho it would be very wrong to film their grief - they are not performing circus animals.
 
Well, let's now not pretend like she's pulling off this amazing feat by "working already", she's not at a desk 9-5 with an a*ss boss yelling at her, where she must meet deadlines.
She's effectively just simply been to the retirement party of one of her staff.

And I agree, keeping busy and getting to another quarter of that massive castle helps distract the mind.
 
For those calling PP a racist, probably useful to remember he took terrible stick when he first moved in Royal circles for his background. Just how it was when he was formed. That's assuming we believe he intended offence by his remarks.

As for the Queen, what a boss. You're quite right, vikka, she's not got her nose-to-the-grindstone at t'mill, but she's still out-and-about honouring others, 4 days after her partner of 70-odd years died, which I think shows her tremendous character.
