It is widely recognised that Diana was the first to go astray with her body guard Barry Mannakee. Ironically he died in a car crash in 1987. James Hewitt was around 1986 and that was also the time Charles picked up again with Camilla.

The marriage was a mess. Charles was unfaithful with one woman whom he later married. Diana went after married men to the point of causing divorce and harassing wives.

I would argue that it's reasonable to assume they weren't seeing each other for the early years of Camilla's marriage. Whatever anyone's views on anyone involved, I think all involved were sensible enough not to risk an illegitimate child. Neither the royals nor the Parker Bowles lot would have taken kindly to risking inheritances going awry.

However long they weren't either emotionally or physically together I'd not know enough nor wish to know enough to speculate, outside of that.

I think it’s forgotten along the way as well that at the time Camilla was head over heels with Andrew.

I reckon Kate would be one of those women who's totally normal and relatively sober acting until about the sixth drink, then the switch suddenly flips and she's dancing on tables, snogging randoms and trying to pick a fight in the kebab shop where she's just ordered an extra large donner with may chips

And then you have to bundle her away and you're stuck with her lurching about and singing because no cab driver will take her
 
One of the wildest theories I’ve seen today is that Kate was having an affair with that Thomas what’s his name, Willy found out and killed him😀

I’m absolutely loving all this gossip around the royals. I’m sitting here with a hot cross bun and a cuppa reading them all😀 That’s all they are good for!
we pay handsomely for their lavish lifestyles/ especially Kate and Willy who are the most work shy of the all!. The least can do is provide us with some entertainment!

I've seen this, and a variation stating she was pregnant by him and has been forced to abort the baby and then had a hysterectomy against her wishes, hence Thomas' death and her disappearance as she's left to go live with the Middleton's and taken the kids...

The mind boggles at some of these theories!

I’ve heard this too and it’s pretty crappy considering the man seems to have lost his life to suicide

I feel like Sophie would get white girl wasted and have to be carried home over Mike Tindall’s shoulder.
Edward would just be there in his own bubble, chilling. Though he could be planning a massacre, no one would know because no one really pays attention to him.
 
Kate seems quite steely to me when she needs to be; indeed, she’s been said to have a huge amount of influence on William behind the scenes.
Just because she knows how not to put a foot wrong when she’s on duty, doesn’t mean she’s being walked all over in private. I don’t see her as “poor Kate” at all.
IF William has had an affair, then I’m sure she’ll do whatever will make her happiest ultimately.
Personally I think that would be to stay put; the Middletons are clearly ambitious, and they just live in a different world to the rest of us.
Although I don’t buy the affair theory at all and firmly believe the issue is surgery and steroids.
 
I don’t understand this forgetfulness over Camilla’s part in the breakdown of Di’s mental state. I mean, Charles gave her a “goodbye gift” days before his marriage. The Fred & Gladys days. I know The Crown mainly plays on rumours and gossip but that part was true, Di did admit to finding it. Then the necklace the Queen had given Diana, which was returned on her death, was spotted on the neck of Camilla a few years later. Why on earth would she think wearing that was ok? I mean come on!!! It’s either her not giving two shits and giving the public the middle finger or some royal stylist taking the piss. Camilla, I can not sympathise with. She’s as bad as Charles. I agree Diana bought a lot of her woes on herself but to think someone who hugged aids patients would witch about you in the pub bogs? I think she was empathetic, probably too empathetic and she wanted to right the wrongs happening to her. Which is, or was, understandable! She went rogue, went off the rails as we sometimes do in life and it led to her untimely death. I’m not saying she was a Saint, by any means. If she were alive now, i think she’d encourage William & Harry to accept Camilla because she did actually give a tit about the Royals, she believed in it all and wanted William to succeed as King, she knew Williams place in life and what would happen before he was even born.

I can’t get with or understand this Camilla fan girling! 😣 short memories with her, but not Di!

I think they probably weren’t having a physical relationship until later but they were certainly still in touch and emotionally connected and that proved to be draining for Diana who knew she would always be second best and not in the romantic fairy tale she maybe thought could develop. She went and sought her own connections for attention but Charles didn’t care as he didn’t love her anyway
