Hmm.

I’ve always firmly been in the ‘no affair’ camp with Prince William. I want to believe that after the disaster of his parents marriage, he wouldn’t want his children to go through the same.

The missing wedding ring on Mother’s Day was strange. Now I’m the first to admit that I often omit to wear mine purely because I forget about putting it back on most of the time. But Kate is rarely, if ever, seen without hers

I can’t help but think that something just isn’t right. I’m not 100% convinced either way but I am prepared to admit that maybe there is no smoke without fire and that Independent article doesn’t help

With the wedding ring, sure many people don't always wear them round the house, at the gym, when baking, etc etc

But if you were an internationally famous person who'd been out of the public eye for an unusually long time and you knew there'd been speculation about the state of your marriage...you'd probably wear it if you wanted to signify that all was well in your marriage?

or if your fingers were swollen, you'd photoshop it in. Probably badly, but the effort would be made, no?

Except she didn't do that. After those articles Kate invited her to her private birthday weekend with her close family and friends. You can see pictures of Rose and her husband David standing with Kate's family and friends in this article. And this was after those affair rumors on the internet. There never was a falling out or an affair.

I don’t know if there was actually a falling out but the press started reporting a falling out and that Kate was trying to freeze her out of the Norfolk crowd. At the same time the foreign press started to report the falling out was in relation to an affair. That’s when it all kicked off on Twitter. It’s mad that this rumour has been around for 5 years and to my knowledge not one British newspaper has ever ran a story even acknowledging the rumour. The same British press that gave us Tampongate.

Yep they reported it. Palace sources denied it. People on the internet read that article and came to the conclusion that falling out was because William had an affair with Rose. Haters spread that on the internet. That woman Nicole Giffin (sp) made a twitter thread speculation that it was an affair. (which she later took back and said I was only speculating). She is an American who is a massive fan of M/H. That went viral on internet (X). Giles Coren heard about it (that viral tweet) during a boozy lunch. He then went on twitter and made that tweet. And because he is a Times journalist he was taken seriously. And it went viral. And so a myth was born.

One of the wildest theories I’ve seen today is that Kate was having an affair with that Thomas what’s his name, Willy found out and killed him

I’m absolutely loving all this gossip around the royals. I’m sitting here with a hot cross bun and a cuppa reading them all That’s all they are good for!
we pay handsomely for their lavish lifestyles/ especially Kate and Willy who are the most work shy of the all!. The least can do is provide us with some entertainment!

I agree feels more like fanfiction than actual conspiracies because they are absolutely wild

To be fair, I’d take off The Ring the moment the cameras were gone. Bloody awful thing that isn’t Kate’s style at all and comes from a cursed marriage. Such a ridiculously lazy thing for William to do. If he really wanted to include his mother’s engagement ring he could have had the stones put into a new design that’s in keeping with Kate’s look.

She looks about 10 years older than she was and like a lot of women in the street.

She might have been the most beautiful in the royal family at the time but the bar wasn’t that high. It’s a mental take when you consider women like Yasmin Le Bon, Elle MacPherson, Cindy Crawford, Michelle Pfeiffer and many more were around at the time.

Everytime I’ve put my two pennies worth about what I’ve been told about the affair I’ve been ridiculed on here but now my theory doesn’t look quite as strange!

W and H have fallen out because of this affair as H actually is quite sickened by it. I’m not a lover of H and M but it’s suited W to allow them to be slated. I suspect the whole sorry, ugly mess is unravelling.
