I have such a soft spot for Mischa. She really seems to have had a hard time with fame and judging from comments she’s made about that time, she seems a bit hazy on things. She was so young but I loved her on the OC, her wardrobe for starters and her make up and hair was right up my street, along with the bags she’d have I adored Ben Mackenzie so was always rooting for them to be together. I think she’s a typical 2000s star who really struggled with the intensity of fame, the media etc. I’m glad she’s doing well now and is hopefully happy. Me and my husband walked past the coolest (and most expensive) hotel we have in our town. I said to him I remember when I was a teen and I’d been to see a boy band, they’d gone there to stay the night and me and my friend followed after a tweet we saw. There was lots of fans just looking in the bar windows while they had drinks like it was a zoo. I cringe now thinking back to it and realise how wrong it was and an invasion of privacy. It’s no wonder people like Mischa, Lindsay Lohan etc have all seemingly crashed and burned. The photos and things written about them would be enough to destroy anyone. I’ve hated over the years seeing the media constantly publish articles about her weight. There’s more to someone than their weight and as every woman, Mischa has fluctuated. add in the struggles with her mum, she hasn’t had an easy time and has had to live it all in the public eye.The O.C. fans go wild over reunion snap of The Cooper family

Great to see Mischa Barton looking so well after all she's been through.
Also, not me being such a huge OC fan we’ve named my son after one of the actors (it was originally a middle name along with my husbands university nickname but we switched the name around after he was born).
