Season 2 isn’t great IMO.

Rewatching this and One Tree Hill made me realise there are actually just a handful of standout episodes I love and the rest is more entertaining but not excellent. Season 2 lacks standout eps I feel, obvs the one where Caleb dies, the shooting… not sure what else tbh? Quite a lot of filler.

However I think the nostalgia means I’ll always find them fun to watch!

I loved it and definitely miss the excitement of waiting for the new episode each week!
I think I was always a fan of Seth as my mum said Ryan reminded her of my brother and ruined him for me. She also knew Sandy as the one with the eyebrows!
Thought me and Summer would be best friends and didn't like Marissa.
Had the box set but its at my parents so started re watching it on all4. Still can't get over the Oliver drama in season 1

I always hated any of the characters who the main characters dates apart from each other (Anna, Theresa, Lindsay, Alex, Zach, etc).

Literally my favourite show EVER! I was absolutely obsessed and knew it word for word! I also bought all the soundtracks! We went on a family holiday to California in 2005 and I insisted on dragging my family to Newport Beach for the days just so as I could say I’d been to where it was set! I actually scooped some sand from the beach, put it in a pot and, 16 years later, I still have it in a draw somewhere I also bought this top while I was there and found it recently while I was clearing out some cupboards. Had to explain to my fiancé who is 7 years younger than me who Seth Cohen is

I hated Johnny!!!!! Didn’t think he was hot at all!

weirdest was when Ryan got together with Johnny’s cousin Sadie after he died (played by Nicki Reid) and then it went 100mph and they were talking about moving in together when he went to Uni… when it took him about 2 years to have sex with Marissa or admit he loved her!

still think that Trey was hot, even though he was a lunatic

I'm the odd one out because I couldn't stand any of the main couples. I would have taken Seth/Alex, Summer/Zach and Ryan/Lindsay over Seth/Summer and Ryan/Marissa any time. Mischa Barton was a piss poor actress who I couldn't stand, and I found S/S nauseating together.

I wasn't a fan of Johnny either, he was just a male Marissa to me, who I also wasn't keen on.
