He was beyond annoying. He was just devoid of any personality but I think it was more that the actor was just completely wooden and there was zero on screen chemistry between him & Mischa BartonHere for the other people getting so annoyed by Johnny my sister loved him and I could never understand why
Totally agree about Adam being the one that got away. Having listened to the podcast over time, she always speaks so fondly of him and the memories she has. She even gushed over him on the podcast and said she was at her best when she was acting alongside him I haven’t watched the YouTube version yet but I’m super excited that it’s 1 of 2 so we get more Adam next weekHas anyone else seen the latest oc podcast rachel and melinda do?
adam brody was a guest, lovely to see him
And rachel (kinda) together again, everyone in the comments were saying how dolled up rachel was compared to previous episodes bit of an awkward moment when they discussed ‘jumper’ movie
i love adam with leighton but him
And rachel were a dream back the day.
i do think adam is the one that got away for Rachel
I’ve just started rewatching from the beginning too (for about the 100th time )Loveeee the OC i am currently rewatching it all and on series 2.... I adore sandy and kirsten ❤❤❤
I was so disappointed when he left his job and went to that fancy law firm. I think part of the nostalgia I have for this is the anticipation of watching each week , having to run back from the bathroom etc to not miss it, nothing is lie that nowLoveeee the OC i am currently rewatching it all and on series 2.... I adore sandy and kirsten ❤❤❤
Hart of Dixie was great!I love Hart of Dixie
Ah same, it’s definitely my comfort show hope it gives you the distraction and escapism you need.I am so glad I found this thread! I also had the dvd box set and would always watch it when I needed a "comfort watch". I am on the First Season at the moment. I just started rewatching it for some escapism as I'm going through a really stressful time and this show reminds me of younger carefree days when I watched it the first time.
Sandy is my favourite character (so hot too), I like Seth (I would have been crazy about him if he was in my school) and I like Anna.
I listened to one episode of the podcast - I thought it was a bit poor, I thought the interview was very awkward. It was an early episode so maybe they have improved since.
I might rewatch it again soon! Not sure where it’s available these days!Hart of Dixie was great!
I've been watching the first series again - I just love it. Can't wait to get into the podcast but I'm in the middle of another TV show podcast and can't manage two series at once
Seth was always my absolute fave.
I’m not sure if this is my own assumption, I’ve read it/heard it somewhere, or it’s said somewhere in the show but I think it’s because it was where he first stayed and it’s more private than being in the main house. I also think he doesn’t want to intrude too much than he already has. They also refer to the poolhouse so much on the show, like literally all the time. When Teresa comes to Newport for work, it’s mentioned quite a few times like “oh I’ll just hope to find a family that’ll put me in their poolhouse”. I also think having a poolhouse was considered quite a big deal and showed wealth so it could be why they did it.I enjoyed a few more episodes from Season One last night. One small, random thing really bugs me :
I get that when they first let Ryan stay they didn't know him at all and it was just temporary so him staying in the pool house made sense. But then he became a member of the family and they trusted him..... why does he still live in the pool house? Its not like their massive house doesn't have a guest room inside (they even mention the guest room in a further episode).
I know the pool house makes sense for different plots but realistically its weird that he still sleeps there right?!
