I often wonder how they really see this going long term for their children. Even if Aurora is the last, that's another 18 years of avoiding authority, pretending to educate and pretending they have money whilst running away. When do they think the children will ever move out? Isabelle is unhappy with her life, but I also don't think she knows what would make her happy. She has low confidence because of her parents and lifestyle, and isn't naturally rebellious - which is not a bad thing but does mean she will carry on going along with all this. Even if she isn't happy with her life right now, the alternative of leaving and doing things like many others her age like college, job, social life and responsibilities must be quite daunting. It's easiest for Sarah to leave Isabelle in her room and ignore her, even though she must be able to see that things are not ok.
Even Jace has started to express his feelings of being unhappy with things, and he doesn't even know anything else. He argued against being called cute, he refuses to repeat what they want him to say. He is bored a lot of the time and is never told no, I don't know how they think he is going to happily go along with the lifestyle as he gets older.
