If I had any desire to book Disney I would be poaching clients and agents hard

As other Disney Travel Agencies are racing to come up with some advertising campaigns to bring them over!

If I were an agent, I would start reaching out to some of the other Disney agencies for sure.

I'm thinking of doing a live hangout on youtube. Would love to chat with you all. I'm thinking around 6pm EST

Bravo! I applaud you continuing to be publicly brave. It gives folks hope and other victims (of Peter or anyone) courage to stand up for themselves. And do some healing.

I hope you allow it to stream later. I'm an old married lady and it's time to make dinner and spend some time with the hubby at the end of a long work week. 🥰

There's all sorts of scenarios that could be playing out BTS. It also could (and likely would be) dependent on the outcome of the AMEX case. While not a primary concern, if Pete sells at a steep discount, it also potentially devalues the shares of DUT for the other owners (which could play out anyway if sales take a hit from the circumstance). It's not particularly easy to unwind this, and as folks have mentioned, they're unwinding both DUT and TheDis, and this will take a lot of time to determine valuation, payment, and the pending lawsuit is just an additional wrench in an already complex situation.

Yeah, I’m not sure why everyone is valuing the company so highly. Everyone whom I have ever heard of using Dreams as a travel agent has received 'meh' to poor service. Travel agencies in general are a dying breed. Couple this with the fact that they will no doubt have to remove all of Pete’s videos off of YouTube. Since most of their new business is generated by their YouTube videos, this is going to put a huge dent in future clients. Furthermore, once more word gets out about the situation, I’m sure people will start canceling trips. I personally don’t see the business surviving.

That was the experience I had. Only went through them for the on board credit even though I’d booked our first one with no problem. It would regularly take a week to hear back about anything and when I finally cancelled it took 2-3 weeks to get my deposit back. When we decided to book a year later I did it all on my own and scored a discounted upgrade I wouldn’t have gotten if I had to wait on them for everything.

On the value, I think because Sean said they generated between 50-60 million dollars in Sales and are at the highest tiers for a TA at 15% commission rates. I don't see a ton of new business, but they have a bank of repeat customers. I see some on the Dis Boards stating they are pulling their business, but it remains to be seen how many stay. Also, we will see what Disney does if anything with their relationship with this agency. So many unknowns at this point.
