I know there are details we don't - and will never - know. But wow am I disappointed in John. From his tone-deaf official statement to what are apparently years of ignoring an issue. He shouldn't come out of this smelling like a rose. But he will.

duck John and Kevin and how Pete would go and berate his viewers and listeners who couldn’t for anything more than a Value resort while these two old obese queens paraded around in Louis Vuitton bags on weekly basis.

You are telling me as the owner of a company to see the revolving door of so many young men on your platform and having your co-owner tell his staff that he hired an escort, absolutely no offense to you, Sean, that he knew absolutely nothing that this was Bambi in the headlights.!?

I have a DCL cruise booked through DUT in the middle of next year. We went with them because they have a generous on-board credit package. Problem we have is that I'd LOVE to leave them now, but everything I've researched says that Disney doesn't allow the transfer of reservations from Agency to Agency (I imagine this is to prevent poaching of reservations). It currently appears that our only recourse is to fully cancel, wait for money to be refunded and then rebook (hoping that our rooms don't get sold in the interim). Also, it's likely that the cruise will be more expensive now (they increase the price as the ship fills).

I'd imagine many of DUT's customers for the foreseeable future are in the same boat I am (pun not intended)

Just got off the phone with DCL Support. DUT can be removed as our travel agent, but reservations cannot be reassigned to a different agent once 30 days have passed from making the reservation.

Passing along the info in case anyone else needs/wants to stick it to John and the rest of the enablers.

i still can’t get over how pw seeks out young, impressionable, vulnerable people. young men whose life got them down, recently experienced loss, needed a job, in recovery, escorting, etc.

i mean, it’s on par for an abuser, but damn. he wasnt always like this, was he? does john magi have a story? walter? speaking of which, where does teresa’s allegiances lie?

and what is gio’s story, i wonder?

is it so hard for him to find a truly consensual relationship? when was his last one?

Remember the running joke about PW's casting couch? We were all wrong to assume things were always consensual 😔

So Dustin thinks it was "implausible" that John and Kevin did not know? Is that from the live chat today?

i thought he meant they knew what he was capable of, but didn’t know what at the time was going on exactly?

idk idk whole thing stinks to high heaven

and it’s such a bad look for the disney gay community, that there was this prominent man who preyed on straight men

And the only way Disney will officially cut ties with Pete Werner is when their company is accused of profiting from the illegal actions that caused the suffering he caused. As it stands he is still on their A list.
I HIGHLY doubt that. Dreams Unlimited may be facing some challenges, but there is ZERO chance Werner is only any list but "ignore". Even if, by some stroke of stupidity, someone over in Burbank suffered a seizure and and didn't tit-can him, he brings nothing to the table. He has no social media presence, he has no travel agency, he has nothing to offer even the most cutthroat bean counter.

I think John and Kevin were willfully ignorant of Pete’s behavior. Let’s face it they are no spring chickens and I’m sure they had strong suspicions, but as long as no one was flat out telling them they could continue to ignore the suspicious behavior.

I was thinking back to actual examples of PW's behavior (when it came to his younger attractive employees). The person I have always been interested in hearing from is Oliver. I recall watching this one video a long time ago and I could not shake that it seemed that Pete was much more flirtatious and seemingly giddy? I think I found the video in question and I will post it below with timestamps.

First off, it's only Pete and Oliver...no other employees around. This could be because no one else was available to film...but knowing what we know now....it gives me pause? There were two other videos that were filmed the same way (assuming the same day). I cannot recall if he did this often, so please feel free to chime in if he did this with other employees.

I only really noticed this because he seemed different here, unlike his interactions with other employees and fellow colleagues. I am wondering if anyone else sees this too...or if I was/am just reading too much into it.

10:28 Most of the video seems fine, but the flirty-ness starts at around this time.
11:22 Pete mentions that he would talk inappropriately to Mickey Mouse:/ (ok...odd thing to say on a podcast)
13:05–14:10 Defends his love for Caseys hotdogs and then flirtatiously calls Oliver "Judgey McJudgerson...with his judgey eyes" (um..wut?)
13:40 After Oliver says he can find a hotdog on 192, Pete mentions that you could also find a prostitute. (is DisUnplugged supposed to be family friendly...or no?)
13:50-14:15 Again calls Oliver a "Judgey McJudgerson" and also says he will make Oliver starve and Pete will eat his hotdogs alone. (just flirty banter??? it's weird)
