He just is one of those people I think just always looked older, not even meant to be an insult. Some people just look older when they are younger.

He was a nice person but had no problem cutting anyone out of his life that Pete told him too, so for that I have to question his character. His wife hated Pete because Pete monopolized Steve's time. They used family stuff as a reason to move back to Utah but I really think the actual reason was to get away from Pete.

Based on what Amex has filed in their complaint, Pete agreed to be 100% liable and while the complaint isn’t as clear as I’d prefer the implication is that Pete, as CEO, had Dreams agree to be 100% liable.

It's funny you mention it. In the earlier days of the podcast (pre-video), there was a tight-nit Disney online community. Online personalities like Lou Mongello, Deb Wills, the WDW Today crew (Mike, Mike, Len Testa), etc... The DIS always seemed to operate outside this community. It seemed like Pete tried to distance himself from them. I was always curious about this.

He always spoke highly of Deb. He didnt like the others because he felt they were Disney ass-kissers so they could get free tit. He probably wasnt wrong.

I don’t know for sure but I do know this was an issue.

Steve is a really kind person and he’s very passive by nature, but I don’t think he has a mean bone in his body or anything. But I do remember there being a bit of a power struggle between his wife and Pete over his time.

Obviously, his free time should go to his wife but Pete did not believe in that and really felt Steve should pick him over his wife so Steve was in a rock and a hard place. If Mikayla did lay down the law I don’t blame her at all.(can’t confirm if she did or not)

This makes sense. I was a fan of some of these people, but they were definitely Disney sunshine pumpers. I think that's one thing that attracted me to the DIS personalities. They seemed to give honest assessments and didn't hold back on criticisms.

I feel like frequently being at these theme parks also rapidly ages people. See Michael Kay, Tim Tracker, Jenn Tracker, Kyle Pallo, Adam the Woo, etc. Stuffing their faces with churros, turkey legs, fried sticks of butter, or whatever the heck they encounter. I will never forget seeing a video of Tim Tracker at the fair with Adam the Woo at a "Guess Your Age" booth and the guy guessing the age rounded way up, shocking Tim.

But I do remember one story. So, AJ is sponsored by Small World Travel, which is the only Disney travel agent that outsells Dreams.

Back in the day, Pete started DISboards and Disney used to send out these discount coupons in the mail and people would go on the DIS and post their coupons. Disney contacted Pete and told him to stop letting people do it and he did, but this woman named Sue messaged him and asked if he would allow her to post the link to her website so people could keep sharing them. He said yes, that website was Mouse Savers.

Which lead to Small World Travel and they are number 1 by a clear mile in Disney travel sales. So Pete accidentally started his number 1 competitor.
