JL isn’t posting here but she shared a screenshot of this site on her Instagram.

I don’t think they have anything like that, that I was ever aware of. However Pete does have a history of hiring people without John’s approval and paying them under the table.

People with the DIS are typically employees and paid by Dreams Unlimited Travel, but if Pete wants to hire someone and can’t justify it, He pays them personally $1500 per month until he can get John on board for giving them an actual paycheck. I know I never once got an actual check, I was always paid on PayPal, so I never made the transition but the card is just used to pay half or all of a salary and then the card is paid for by Dreams (or was up to a certain point in time - I believe it is not now)

Also is the JL here actually JL? She was before my time but I just didn’t know if it was actually her.
Writers for Wdwinfo are paid through PayPal. That’s how I was paid.

I finally got around to watching the after show. The mood of Craig, Ryno, Erica and Theresa was so different today. They were having a blast, chatting, telling jokes pretending to do standup, changing camera angles. It was not the regular boring after-show that it’s been the past several weeks. There was no talk of Disney or Pete or the studio change etc. They did talk about what they were wearing in Disneyland but that was the extent of Disney talk. I would say the change is exactly what this team needed and they are very happy about it.

How does this work in regard to the all important credit score? Pete is what, mid 70s? Even if AmEx settles for less, even if this debt is considered a business debt, it is tied to his social security number, right? At his advanced age is there any way his credit rating could recover? What if he wants to buy a house or a car, will he have decent credit going forward? I’m not worried about him at all, just wondering about the system when someone amasses a million in debt they scam from a credit card company.

OK, I was confused by your post and saw you went back and corrected a word!

Steve was so sweet. I always wondered if he was in danger there. But they also frequently made fun of him. I distinctly remember he got compared to this stuffed toy from DCA.

Pete used to tell others how he wanted Steve but he never made an attempt to my knowledge. Steve isnt as sweet as he appears. He let Pete dictate his personal life also.

Being paid through PayPal isn't uncommon. The question is whether the employee was issued a 1099, or if appropriate taxes were withheld otherwise.

The dude is only 58. Let that settle in for a minute.

I am laughing because you thought he was mid 70's! Technically I don't even think he is 60 yet.

Pete is like 56/58 tops.

Second, if you take a look at the Cardmember Agreement there is a clear promise to pay on both defendant’s parts because “you” in the Cardmember Agreement is defined as “Cardmember” and “Company” which in this case is “Peter Werner” and “Dreams Unlimited Tra”. The defendants agreed to be joint and severally liable here.
As a lay person I am trying to process this.

I am just assuming that Pete’s signature was the only signature on the application.

So is your colleague saying that when Pete signed up for the AMEX card that he did it within the capacity of DUT CEO?

That Pete’s signature put full liability in DUT lap?

Pete and I went Black Friday shopping once and Pete so one of those people who want people to guess his age so he can ‘shock’ them with his real age cause he ‘looks so much younger than he actually is.’

So this woman at like Tiffany or wherever says ‘idk? 37?’ And he’s like ‘55!’ And she’s like ‘omg no way’ - I was like y’all have to have like 14 brain cells between the 2 of you.
