I truly love Disney but I just didn’t grow up getting to ‘do’ a lot of at Disney outside the parks and dining so I didn’t know enough to be talking about any extra stuff. And I agree, I shouldn’t have been on a Disney show when I didn’t know enough about the topic.

I met Kyle Pallo yesterday at the MK. He was such a cool and nice person. I don't understand the hate he gets. Guy just minds his business and does his own thing.

Amy and Paul seem like sincere hardworking people who unfortunately moved their lives and got wrapped up with a monster. Paul may have enough personality to make a good host, he seems like he might criticize Disney when needed.

My guess is World of DVC will drop Pete pretty soon, the owner may give off “timeshare salesman vibes” but he didn’t get this far being stupid, and he isn’t going to want Pete’s BS tarnishing his business.

I don’t get the Kyle Palo hate either. He gives good overviews, no opinions but definitely gives you a feel for a resort or restaurant.

The World of DVC also recently sponsored UK Disney vlogger called Adam Hattan, who already owns DVC. I can see them doing more stuff like that in the future as well, using "ordinary vloggers" rather than the DIS for partnerships.

They seem to be branching out. I’m noticed they partnered with Mammoth Club, Mr Morrow and a few others. Maybe they heard some rumors and knew this tit show was coming.

I look a lot younger than I am and a couple years ago my husband daughter and I were at a restaurant and the waitress kept flirting with him through the entire meal. We get to the end and she looks at my daughter and I and says “well girls, what does dad like for dinner?” My husband was so pissed, I cried laughing so hard. He is exactly 6 months older than me 😂

I don’t say much about the team because I don’t want them getting the brunt of Pete’s wrath but I think the Krieger’s are far enough removed that they are safe.

I like them both but I have a soft spot for Amy (I don’t even know why cause we’re not like close or anything. I just always liked her) but Pete was telling me one day after filming that he offered Amy a job as his assistant part time but she’d also been offered a part time job with with something involving DVCresale or a full time job with Monera. He said he wanted her to take the 2 part time jobs to diversify things for her (or something along those lines) and I immediately was like, I have to go right now, bye.

I got in my car, asked around for her phone number and literally parked on the side of i4 to call and tell her not to take the Pete job and to do Monera and to please just trust me. Not saying that’s why she took it or anything, but I was looking out.
 
Can someone explain where the super high number for Pete came from? I did a county records search and I see. So where is the super high number coming from? I'm probably missing something :(

I always wondered why she made that job shift. Wasn’t she initially working for moving to Orlando for a short time? I remember when they announced they were moving that she mentioned going into real estate. Then she just switched to Monera. I’m glad you were looking out for her!

I'd watch a weekly show that just featured Paul and Amy. I think they're fantastic. Pauls not an idiot he knows whats going on for sure
 
Does anyone remember the moderator clear out from a few years ago? I can't remember all of the details but I have this vague memory of a bunch of mods being just gone one day and a bunch of their threads and responses just missing.

I was reminded of this because I follow one of mods that were just gone from the rumors board, Ryan, and he posted a screenshot of the same comment from JL so I'm assuming he has some stories as well. I think he was even a guest in the studio at one time but I don't think he was the only mod that was booted at the time.

She was a realtor in West Virginia years ago so I think it was a possibility but wasn’t something really fleshed out.

Pete wanted an assistant for his MTO work (which is hilarious) and wanted me to pay for half of it (wasn’t happening) and he was interested in Amy for that job. She did write articles for a time with MTO.

DVC Rental Store (part of World of DVC) did a giveaway with WDWNT recently as well -- Paul did a video with Tom Corliss. They've also started their own message board/forum - Unlocked Magic. It's subscription based (think $5 a month) but includes a dining reservation finder tool, a dvc reservation finder, monthly virtual classes with a Disney artist ("learn how to draw x") and special World of DVC video shows. It doesn't seem to have a lot of traction yet but from all that they have going on overall, it seems clear they had no intention of being fully reliant on/partnered with the DIS. I'm not sure what would happen with DVC Fan if they were to completely pull away as it seems like Paul and Amy manage most of the content on the site and the YouTube channel.
