*** COMING TO A CINEMA NEAR YOU! ***

The nightmare-inducing horror movie, Fillup, which has a simple, but very effective scenario: perfectly ordinary and unsuspecting individuals go to sleep and find themselves waking up in bed next to Stephanie in the morning 😲, and when they look in the mirror they discover that they’ve been turned into Fillup! 😲😲 Unable to remove the beanie from their heads and finding themselves hunting for porcelain every waking minute of the day, they eventually become insane and commit suicide … :ROFLMAO:

Looks like the Fleuries have been playing funny buggers with their timeline. There's been no snow in Normandy for two weeks. It snowed for only one day then it was washed away in the rain.

Also chateau owners... on making a Xmas wreath: Is this content working for you when practically every other chateau channel films wreath making? How about something original? If I see one more dried orange slices wreath I think I'll slap you!

A few words from Bella
Hello dear family and friends,

I want to say a tremendous THANK YOU to everyone who donated last Christmas.

With your contributions, I was able to travel all across Tuscany and go to some incredible sites. From art galleries in Cortona to Leonardo Da Vinci’s museum in Florence! It was an amazing experience I would not have enjoyed so fully without your help.

Therefore for this year’s celebrations, I am cheekily asking for the same thing. This time, I’m heading back to Italy but in a different region. The destination is…:

Carnival of Venice, in February!

There will be lots to arrange, including masks and ball-gowns… everything a girl needs to integrate this incredible festival.

So if you are feeling generous, I would greatly appreciate your aid once again. A pound here or there really makes all of the difference, and what may seem small to you is truly meaningful to me.

Lots of love,
Isabella (the adventurer)

Another spoilt brat.

Jeez! These people piss me right off. I wonder where she learnt her grifting skills... Ah yes, dear ol' mom and dad. The smiling assassin must be soo proud. She and bumbly simple Si are creating another despicable fanny.

Himself and I did the discovering Tuscany many, many years ago, long before it became Chiantishire and overrun by sur-tourism. Sadly, these days, Florence is to be avoided at all costs unless you are happy to be fleeced. And guess what? We did it on our own dime working hard with long hours so that we could pay our own way to have the holidays we wanted. We did Venice at carnival too, with a toddler in tow. Pre sur-tourism before prats and twats like the gruesome twosome and their ilk went dressing up and pretending to be part of the exclusive set. They have no class, no breeding. Just wannabes without being anything.

It amused me that the prancing twerp was using the blue tablecloth that the Smiling Assassin gave them (plus eleven matching napkins - so useful to have an uneven number) on the kitchen table. Viv had made a point of saying the tablecloth was 14’. It wasn’t long enough for the kitchen table, so not a chance it would fit the recently acquired, dreadful, falling apart “bargain” table. Viv is an expert at silently rattling the cage.
Don't worry the tablecloth will never be used again. The cranberry sauce most lucky got splattered on it since it was in the wrong size bowl for amount served.

Hi everyone, a brief update on my Merlin. I spent roughly 9 hours at the hospital with him today, just sitting with him, loving him up, talking to him. He will be having his catheter removed sometime around 4:00 a.m. Monday morning (tomorrow) and we will be able to bring him home around 10:00 a.m. That's the great news!

The other news is not bad, he is NOT in any danger at all, but there are a lot of weird things happening. His kidney levels are perfect, his weight is perfect, he had no bladder stones, he had no obstruction, he doesn't appear to have any tumors, but his urine output versus the fluids he's been getting are not in sync and three vets (all of whom we like very much) in that place cannot figure out why. There's a theory that perhaps he had some kidney damage that was so slight it didn't register in their testing, meaning the kidneys are kicking out more urine which causes more output than the fluids he's being given (they should match). They also detected a very slight heart murmur, which meant they had to take it easy on the fluids this go around. That, too, could be nothing, a result of this episode. Testing they did at the ER yesterday didn't show any red flags, but it could be a concern. Who knows? We definitely have to get that checked out.

He was in good humor for the first time since he went in this second time, he was wriggling around, making biscuits and loving my husband's visit with him this afternoon - he was himself again!

Here is what, in my mind, is the best news. If he crashes again, my vet and this ER group he's with now have referred us to another vet group in Annapolis, about 35 minutes from us, who are a triple threat - they are an emergency hospital, their surgeons do the urethra surgery that will help him not get blocked again AND they have cardiologists. My vet practice doesn't do the surgery and their cardiologist group is probably an hour away without traffic - and trust me, there is ALWAYS very bad traffic! So, we have a plan for the future and that's always good!

Thank you all for listening!

Slow Sunday here and I’m watching the smugs’ premiere… and I must admit I absolutely LOVED the chandelier he bought! The color, the style, everything about it was so lovely and my style.
It may be divisive, but I think fusion of styles makes a space more fresh and liveable. Amanda does the same thing in their chateau and I think it makes the spaces feel more homey and less fake. I find when people stick to the same era of design, it feels a little like a set and makes it feel stuffy and unrealistic.

I go back and forth with Anna and Phillip quite a lot, sometimes I find them so easy to watch and likeable and other times I want to slap Mr. Smug for being so.. well, smug! But there’s certainly one thing I like about them all the time and it’s how integrated in their society they are and how when they pronounce the name of a town, I can be sure it’s the correct pronunciation and I won’t sound like a fool if I repeat it 😆

Unlike fanny who sadly is only Half French and has Half a Brain too!

I loved the chandelier as well, @Karma baby! ! I agree with you on their style- and that of Amanda & Lincoln. Modern with old. Clean lines. Originality. Nothing feels frumpy. Cosy and liveable. I don't mind some of Anna's spartan rooms, as they are works in progress- they select the pieces they both like vice just filling them with junk. They are all also much more "in the in" with their local communities and neighbours, unlike Fanny.

These rooms are amazing. Chateau de la land gets ruined with your father’s bizarre art. The colors and subject matter just don’t fit at all!

PERMASMILE bough5 a surprise ticket for loser Herbert Philip to a porcelain “ conference” by Bernaud about the secrets of porcelain.

Is loser Herbert Philip dressed in women’s clothing from head to toe. He is still wearing Stephanie’s black coat, a brooch, and a knit sweater/scarf combo and a nasty beanie

IMG_2564.png

loser Philip thought the porcelain lipstick case Stephanie was looking at was only €60. Nope, it was €600. He wanted to get it for Stephanie for her Christmas stocking but decided against it after he learned it was €600. Viv tells them to look on vinted to find a porcelain
lipstick case.

After the class, loser Philip drinks wine, and Stephanie orders an Irish coffee.

Stephanie claims that she loves ducks. I believe she misspoke. I believe she loves to eat ducks., but loves live ducks? Stephanie does not love any animals of any type whatsoever.

Shout out to tattle. Stephanie made the comment upon seeing a wedding at the Château ,” I feel like have just walked into the ending of Cinderella.” Stephanie then mentions “ gatecrashing” Mummy and Percy’s honeymoon,
