There is absolutely nothing cutesy about Fanny. Fanny wore the damn ear muffs because she thinks they make her look younger. She just looks stupid. It makes sense that the label on Fanny's touque says 'GRANS' as in Granny!

I can only imagine Snorty's parents introducing their son and his aging 'finance' to people. Instead Snorty should just say, "I have 2 mummy's". Nobody would question him and it's much more plausible and easy to understand than introducing Fanny as his finace.

She has graduated. Around the time of the Venice Carnival (the one where Manor & Maker stood in the square and tried to gain followers, LOL - she said something along the lines of there was a video of Isabella's graduation/party, but for family and friends only, which means it's a private video, she didn't completely share on YouTube.
Many of Permasmile's vlogs has been edited à la Jarvis, so that tidbit of information might not exist on YouTube anymore.

It was a year ago..she got her masters at Exeter it appears.. here is the vlog

I would enjoy watching Snorty spew apple sauce and mushy peas all over the other riders. 🤮
Makes me wonder what rides Snorty rode during his trip to EuroDisney with his Bubblegirl. It seems only little kiddie rides like 'It's a Small World and the Tea Cup would be suitable for his sensitive constitution. Oh, I would enjoy watching Snorty spew apple sauce and mushy peas all over the other riders. 🤮

This reminds me of a beauty therapist I used to go to. She took up hang gliding to make her boyfriend happy as he was a keen enthusiast.
On her one and only experience she was harnessed to her instructor. She was so ill going up that she projectile vomited into his face.

Thank you for the encouragement! When my husband got up, I went over my plan and he agreed with it. I called the surgical group, explained our situation, they got him an appointment for tomorrow at 10:15 a.m.! They said it was a good idea to bring him in for a consultation and depending on what is decided, they had one opening for surgery on Wednesday morning. My regular vet and this ER vet group were both called by this surgical group, Merlin's records and all images have been sent, so we're ready to go!

We spent all day with him and came home around 6:00 p.m. He was 100% himself, except he wouldn't/couldn't pee. By 4:00 pm, he still had not urinated, his bladder was getting full and he had to be catheterized again. On top of it, he now has a UTI, which he didn't have until today, possibly due to the excess catheterizations. He finally ate, it was as if someone had given him a few puffs of whacky weed because he had two helpings of food - side effect of the anesthesia, which is great, because he can't eat after 11:00 pm tonight. We could be in much worse shape (not that I'm tempting the gods!).

I'm the type of person who needs to constantly move forward - I'm not controlling, but I can't sit idle and wait for things to crash around me, particularly when I have good reason to suspect they are going to crash, without a plan A, B, and C. I have to see where I'm going in order to make today a good day. As long as I know what the next step is and can plan for it, I can usually keep moving. So once the appointment for tomorrow was scheduled, I felt lighter and able to move forward. My sweet boy is on his way to relief, whatever that means for him medically.

Thank you all again for your words of encouragement and support. We care about one another here and I am most grateful!
Morning! Really hoping for the best outcome. What an emotional roller coaster.Hugs

Sending big hugs to you and to Merlin. Hope tomorrow goes well for him and he's soon back to his usual self. When our Pop had his surgery he was in for a week but I believe there were new techniques developed that mean just a couple of days now. Hope Merlin is lucky enough only to need the few days. Will zbe thinking of you xox

I was thinking the very same thing @Karma baby! It's the first time I can sympathise with him.

Mr GM wanted to go on the Ferris wheel at Luna Park in Melbourne (this was years ago but it feels like yesterday). There was only a horizontal barrier at the front of the cabin thingy and I gripped it for dear life. As we reached the top he said, look at the view, look at the view. I was absolutely rigid with my head down. It was spectacular sight . . . a full moon shining on the horizon over Port Phillip Bay, but I could barely raise my head.

On the way down, I kept thinking, this will be over soon, this will be over soon. Then at the bottom, we kept going back up again. Apparently, I yelled out, noooooo. 😱😱 When we finally got off I realised I had gripped the 'safety barrier' so tightly, I had nail marks on my palms.
I get you really I do. My experience on a cable car at Katoomba , the Blue Sisters. I had to sit on the floor in the middle of everyone around me as my legs were so wobbly. :(

That cable car, we've been on it too!! When we went on it, it didn't have a solid base, sort of like wire. I didn't sit but stood like a statue with my eyes closed. That was another journey to 'scared of heights hell'.

There was another 'fun' trip we went on while there . . . it was like a little train that hurtled down through a mountain. Each little carriage was totally open with just a bar in front to hang onto. We saw the same ride recently on the ABC . . . totally revamped and enclosed. We remarked it was a miracle someone wasn't killed on the old one smashing their head on the roof of the tunnel.

Still I supposed she couldn't butcher the word Arras. Lille Christmas Market is very similar, we did that many years ago.

That Ferris Wheel wasn't too bad and I'm not a lover of heights.

Suggestion Fanny, take Trixie to Matlock Derbyshire for a trip on the Heights of Abraham, that'll make him cry.

We did this many many years ago and from the looks of this picture they've updated the cable cars. When we went it was just a tiny little bubble for two people. It stops half way up so you get a panoramic view of the area. The day we went it was beautiful and sunny and when it stopped halfway the wind picked up and we were swinging about up there. We walked back down!

Yup, I refused to go on the vertical tram. Too scary for me. Mind you the cable cars in Europe are so much better than the Aussie ones.
