Why did Nathan ever leave the dump? What was Fanny’s excuse? We know from another Tatler that Nathan was working locally and supporting a football club soon after the accident.
Fanny as we know is a cheap skate.
Amaury as we know is incapable of working with anyone other than his father.

From all the reviews about Nathan’s company there is absolutely nothing to suggest he would do anything other than a very good job.

I don’t know what this tells us about Nathan ?It certainly suggests he is completely qualified for domestic or commercial work.Maybe Mr Spratt should pop round!?
What has or has not been done that requires lawyers?
Nathan’s work ?
Amaurys work?
Previous work done by volunteers has been discovered to be dangerous and doesn’t comply with anything French.

The dump is not fit for habitation and therefore no heating is required and the hovel has been condemned?
What we know for certain is that Fanny is lying .

Fanny says, "The Heating Engineer has asked me to employ a lawyer and sort out the situation".

I wonder if Nathan told her to "lawyer up because she's about to get her ass sued, by him, his injured employee and the family of his dead employee".

There's a reason Hanni has been inhouse at the shitoo for 3 months, and it isn't to help Snorty set the table on weekends.
Why has she never mentioned the other person who was injured at the time of Christophe's death? Surely, she would be concerned about whether he recovered from his injuries.

The only good thing to note is that, whatever is going on, it is certain to cause Fanny a great deal of anxiety. She may be lying her face off and pretending to face it bravely but I really hope that she's getting desperately worried underneath. She deserves every single sleepless night that she gets. I will also be incandescent with rage if she manages to get the patrons to fork out any more huge sums to cover whatever costs are needed to sort it all out. The Jarvis lot should pay every single cent themselves.

I thought she read here?
The least the witch can do is follow simple instructions!
We practically have a whole thread on how to dispose of a body!
Our pigs have been very busy. When I say our pigs, I mean the wild sanglier. The boy managed to have a rendezvous with one the other night. Took the fog light housing off the front of the car, the bugger. The sanglier that is, not the boy. There's one currently thrashing around in the reeds a côté de chez nous. He appears to be a bit stuck. I'm not going down to help him out. The bloody things are like bulldozers, it'll free itself soon enough.

Worried about T Rex , not seen here since Sunday? Perhaps there’s no place for LieLande just now when the whole world, seemingly, is in upheaval. Truly a chaotic, upsetting time. Menopausal Heidi and Cardy Phi ( thank you tattler’s for those appro pos monikers) are absurd in their tunnel vision but a diversion none the less. Hope all is ok Rexy 😘

I am just giving a short update from yesterday.

If there is an inquest over the death of the chimney man at Lalande, how quickly or slowly does the French system work ? In the UK a father and son who died in Liverpool Construction Site accident when work platform fell 14 storeys from 21st floor due to brakes failure in May 2021 has JUST been held September 2024. Both deaths recorded as an accident.

Also @tarteauxfruits has made a valid point too, the moment it became a commercial installation things changed. Aumary has built the room aorund the boilers but are they to CURRENT regulations.

It's dragged on and on.

The regulations are changing all of the time and you must keep up to date.

For example Mr Spratt did an installation and it was passed but the chap from QUALIGAZ told him had it been done two weeks later the regs will be changing and it wouldn't be passed.

She's mentioning the plasterboard and all we can think is that it's not NF stamped. She can easily afford to get QUALIGAZ out to advise but that means €€€€

As I said before poor Nathan will be thrown under the bus.

I smell bullshit!
Fanny's middle name is Bullshit!

If Nathan quoted to install the heating system he is responsible for all of it.

i don’t know of anywhere that sells non NF stamped plasterboard in France. I suspect Nathan has underestimated something and there is a stand off between the two parties. I suspect the boilers should have been in a separate building with separate flues hence all the talk regarding vents through one apartment or another. Someone needs to pay to move everything which is why nothing is happening.

Ah... But you let your viewers damage Ian's reputation. How many times has that mouthy Caroline Gooder stated; Oh, but the French are always slow.
Fanny I don't believe you one bit. A man died and now you're stuck in a legal circle jerk. Methinks you're saying all this to save your own hiney.
I would sell my left testicle to see Stephanie Jarvis clapped irons and hauled away for the rest of her life. She should be placed in solitary until the end of time, not allowed to interact with the rest of the world.

The Patron vlog is up, so grab a libation of your choice, sit down and buckle up because Fanny has provided an update on the heating!!!

Fanny & Snorty are driving in the car at night. They've been off visiting Chateau Chantilly (only 4.5 hours away north of Paris) on a day trip!!! So if we believe that codswallop, then how much are we to believe Fanny's heating tale? Snorty is driving and Fanny decides to 'pop in' and cheerily provide a bit of an update on the heating, because apparently, people have been asking.

- It is very complex
- I'm not speaking about it because I don't feel that if I have a platform that reaches many thousands of people, I should use that to talk about any issues that I may be having with contractors who are working for me. I don't think it's the place to talk about it and I don't think it's the way of dealing with things.
- I want to let you know that we having mainly administrative difficulties - administrative difficulties on the side of the Gas Board who have to sign off on the boiler room.
- So, from our point of view Amuary, has said he's not doing any more work to the boiler room until the Heating Engineer can give him very clear instructions about exactly how he needs it finished
- The Heating Engineer doesn't know how he wants it finished
- The Heating Engineer is waiting to hear from the Gas Board and the Gas Board are saying they can't say how they want it finished until they have the specs from the Plasterboard manufacturers
- The Plasterboard manufacturers are saying they can not give the specs because it's not something they do - it's just our plasterboard.
- The Heating Engineer has asked me to employ a lawyer and sort out the situation
- So we're in a bit of a circular situation right now - we're in a bit of a stalemate - and everyone is looking at everyone else saying can you give me what I want to carry on but no one can
- We're still very much on good terms with the Heating Engineer and we're trying to help him move forward with it
- So we're going to get there bit by bit
- We've had cold winters before and we can have another cold winter
- The important thing is that we finally get the heating in
- So that's the situation as it is at the moment and when we can move forward I'll let you know
Ha ha ha. It's going to be a cold, hard, wet winter. Do enjoy it fanny.

@JackSpratt over to you, our resident heating engineer... fanny we know you're talking bollocks.

I haven’t seen the Patreon vlog but I suspect that because of the size of the boilers they fall into a commercial installation rules/code. And as such the boiler must be separated from any buildings. A purpose built plant room if you like and Nathan hasn’t done this hence the argument involving the fire resistance of plasterboards. Everything needs to be moved and will cost a fortune.
A fortune? Which fanny just happens to have. She just doesn't want to spend it on the essentials. She wants to splurge on the fun things.

I suspect Fanny was quoted full estimates on a range of heating options including a proper commercial heating installation, but she didn't want to spend the money and argued against the expert's recommendations.

Fanny (with Snorty sticking his nose in) always thinks she's right and won't listen to the experts. No different than Fanny arguing to raise the ceiling in the GS, or fighting against the steel beam installation, or ordering a single undersized water tank for the back garden. Fanny HATES building works because they aren't pretty and she always elects to take short-cuts which save money that she can instead spend on decorations.

Well, she does admire Marie Antionette so much that she should be locked up in the Conciergerie, Paris where MA spent her last days! I've been there - and MA's room is in better knick that Stef's bedroom!

I do think you have hit the nail on the head here Lady A !
Madame is in legal trouble.

Why has she never mentioned the other person who was injured at the time of Christophe's death? Surely, she would be concerned about whether he recovered from his injuries.
I have always been interested in this person...... is he still in hospital ?
Where ever he is ....... I bet his family if furious as I can imagine the bullsh** she has been saying to them!
I do hope they are "lawyered Up" too !!!!!!!
