The new little one seems to be more fragile than Ratso. He also seems to hide himself a lot? He looks cold too

Yes it is a big shame the way these feudal arrogant people treated the sweet little dog as a toy. Buying an other one within three weeks after poor Lancelot passed away,

This is cruel and you know nothing about dogs.

You obviously don't know when a dog is being abused.

Their new purchase, Galahad, is still being mistreated. He is constantly shown wearing his harness-other than when he is in bed which for such a small dog must be tiring. In one recent video the owners had received a gift of a knitted ‘jockey’ which could be attached to the harness on the back of the dog. The poor dog couldn’t get away from this strange item bobbing away on his back and he looked terrified as he ran around trying to shake it off. The owners and everyone in the room were laughing as they filmed it. That is one of the most cruel things you could do to an animal who has no say in what happens to them. Is there not one sensible person in the chateau who can stop things like this happening?!

What I wouldn’t give for that Tess to be baby’s freak show mama.

@billybudd has been putting this idea forward for la despicable Jarvis forever. And she has steadfastly refused to acknowledge or use any means close to her to make a highlight of the immediate area. If she did that it means she couldn't keep going away from the place she hates most in the whole wide world, lielande. She shackeld to it and she knows it.

Providing info about local “things to do and places to see” is such an obvious part of running a B&B or having holiday lets/gites! In fact, one almost expects to find helpful hints with details about what’s to be found in the surrounding area. Not everybody relies on asking the internet and, anyway, personal recommendations for things like restaurants is never a bad idea. I don’t think there’s anything like that at Lalande. Natti appears to be the source of information. The first time Smiling Assassin Viv (plus daughter) appeared at the crumbling heap, I remember her saying that Natti had told them to visit La Châtre when Viv asked about places to visit. No specifics. Just La Châtre. Viv and the daughter set off, found the Musée George Sand et de la Vallée Noire and also found a very nice place to have lunch* - weeks/months later, Steph and the prancing twerp went to the same restaurant and I’m pretty sure SJ said she’d never been there before.

* L’Escargot - looked a really good watering hole. its menu has been mentioned on Tattle before.

Stephanie and the prancing twerp stayed somewhere (I forget precisely where but it was a bedroom and bathroom in the only restored part of a ruined château) and SJ professed amazement that there were some leaflets about the local area, as if the idea was a revelation. Her level of stupidity is breathtaking.

Not a single response to this comment by any of the dump crew, even though the United States makes up a large portion of the views that they receive, and a large number of the patrons that pay for their extravagant lifestyle. So predictable.

Please say a prayer in the chapel for everyone affected by the hurricane and it's destruction in North Carolina and Tennessee. A town became an island. No way in or out other than helicopter

What an utter twit. He looks like a teapot. A very unattractive teapot.

How people can bear having him around is beyond me.
He looks like a gif.

@C'est moi ! We have been pretty busy helping out with the cleanup. Mr. T Rex purchased a trash pump to help get the mud out of people's in-ground swimming pools- pool companies are charging $3K, so we are doing it for free. We're working long hours, have a few things of our own we need to tackle, but aren't as high of a priority when people have it much worse than us. Our refrigerator has been pretty bare for the last few days (meals are a mish mash of random stuff from the freezer), and we were running low on Gatorade and Miller Lite, so Mr. T Rex sent me out to Sam's Club (our big box store) after I mowed the lawn.

At 2PM when I turned into the parking lot, the place was packed as there was a pending apocalypse. People had their carts full of goods and everyone had paper towels and water. 'Wondered if perhaps they had not gotten the memo the port strike had been cancelled, but heard one person murmur something about "preparing for the storm." Based on the morning news, which stated it would just be a low and rain maker, I surmised they were all just being extra cautious due to "hurricane fatigue" from Helene. Toilet paper was wiped out. People were loading up on cases of water. It was a mad house, with a strange frantic energy. My overflowing buggy was just my normal monthly shopping trip, so just shrugged it off- although there were some strange glances at the cute Halloween decor in my cart, and when I remarked, "Is this not adorable? They are right over there!", those in line looked at me as if I had landed from another planet.

When I returned home, Mr. T Rex had just finished at the neighbours' house, so he took a shower while I put groceries away. My phone began dinging with texts from friends about the pending Hurricane Milton. What the fresh hell...?!? So tomorrow will go from recovery back to storm prep. If it hits Tampa as projected as a Cat 3, we're looking at a higher storm surge than Helene and stronger winds. The county is supposed to start clearing the flood debris (furniture, drywall, etc.) from the curbs on Monday, so hopefully that happens or it will end up in the harbor or as projectiles. We'll be making the evacuation call tomorrow based on the path/strength changes. All we can do is prepare for the worst at this point. Stay safe, my Florida Tartlets. ❤
