In our country, men must either choose a limited time in military, or do a social year in a socially related facility like Red Cross, Ambulance, Hospital or…. RETIREMENT HOME, I’ve seen things… I smelled those things… changed bedsheets… naked bodies..

Conscription is common in Denmark too... Luckily, I was a little sissy from the get go, the army didn't want me.

Watching CD today I felt like I got time sickness (is that a thing?)

Tante serving a big lunch at 4:00 pm, but they are also removing the Christmas decorations at 4:00 p.m.
Definitely two separate days, but likely even more.

During Tante's big lunch you can see Snorty & FRK's grocery shopping on the table (toilet paper & whatever food container FRK carried in the kitchen). FRK may not be happy to be back at the shitoo, but she looked particularly happy to be sitting beside Snorty.
Amusing to see Fanny send Snorty up to the attic with the Christmas decorations while see waddles out to the chapel for her hourly worker harassment session.

Oncle trying to have a dry February yet Snorty pulls out a special bottle of port on a regular weeknight dinner to entice him to take a tipple. Snorty doesn't even need an excuse for a drink. Fanny & Snorty both need intense, inhouse treatment for their drinking and shopping addictions.

I don't know how they could eat such big meals in one day, indeed if it was the same day. So much meat.

Figures Snortikins would break out the dessert wine. Probably wants the “ladies” to leave the room while he and Oncle discuss…things. That bottle of port is okay, but nothing particularly special. True it retails for 83€ today, but it’s only average. There are much better Colheitas out there. Must’ve been his consolation prize for no Travels with my Gobbler when they went to Portugal.

I used to quite like Stephanie until she started all that. She certainly does live a life of luxury the chateau , a flat in London, holidays every couple of months , I dont understand the people who donate . And dont even get me started on the boyfriend who got used to spending other peoples money very quickly . He was the last straw for me.

Cry poverty, ask money for her geriatric American viewers that think she is renovating a national monument, and spend thousands on herself. Year barely started and 3 luxury holidays, another 2/3 holidays booked for the next couple of months, Chanel bags, Dior dresses , louboutin and so on.

As a Billy fan, I will say I am shocked and disappointed.
I was willing to give him a pass on going AWOL.
We had a cleaning lady who asked my husband's help when her young son went AWOL from the army because of bastardisation.
But this . . . this is another level . . . call it what you want . . . at the end of the day it's theft.
With convictions against their names they will want to stay very clear of the law.
As for Gwen . . . bringing her family name into disrepute.
If Billy puts a foot wrong he'll be a goner.
I will be watching his next vlog with interest.

It will be interesting to see how he continues with his vlog, I did think he had been a bit grumpy lately. The whole Petherick dynasty could collapse. Lets hope he takes Lalande with him.

I was looking at the Workaway website, as I was sure that Vivienne and Simon of Chateau Love had had Workaway volunteers before. I was right, they have....they only have Workaway volunteers who are a couple. As I was reading some of the feedback from the Workaway volunteers (all very complimentary of Simon & Vivienne) I was SHOCKED to see at least two couples who spent over a year with them! One of them spent a year there, then 6 months later returned for another 18 months!

I’m thinking it may not be uncommon concept to have these types of long stays in Europe. In 2023 Chateau Avansac was advertising for a live in cook/housekeeper to reside for 12 months. Same concept free board for 5 hours work a day. I think weekends were free. I think they also suggested the person needed to speak eng&french and be licensed/have own car. Keeping in mind parts of the Chateau are going through extreme renovations. I can remember being really surprised when I read it but thought linked to Mark’s (co owner) illness. I suppose for free food/lodgings and 5 hours work you can experience living in another country at low cost.

My guess is that Billy will stay mum…keep as far away from the topic of his conviction as possible. Exactly the way he handled the military desertion story. There’s really nothing he can say that will make everyone happy…he won’t be sorry enough for some, or won’t say the right thing for others. I think Billy knows he has fans who will support him no matter what, and also has his detractors that won’t be satisfied no matter what he does. So…his best bet is to just let the heat die down and let it all blow over. It would be nice to hear his side of the story, but I doubt it will ever happen,

There will be some of his viewers that have not seen or heard of this court case. So if he doesnt vlog for a few days, they will want to know why. If he goes right back into his vlog, without addressing the case he will get a lot of negative comments. I imagine the Petherick clan are all round the table thrashing out a plan.

We have galloped through this thread and I think we should re-read the comments left on Daily Mail's story on Billy. Gracie has re-posted them above.

There are lots of people out there who see through Stephanie Jarvis's con who aren't necessarily tattlers. I am taking a lot of heart that Billy's horrible PR blunder and dishonesty, has caused a ripple on effect to Stephanie Jarvis. This could be Michael's ultimate revenge on SJ for using him as a proxy boyfriend.
Imagine them sitting around that filthy kitchen table and discussing strategy on how to minimise this fallout. This one they can't write off as they have no control over DM readers. People other than Tattlers will be reading the DM comments and searching Stephanie Jarvis, con woman.

Now we all know why the nuns have been haunting Billy at the convent! I feel like Scooby Doo finally solving that mystery!!!

But as a Catholic, I am disturbed and disgusted that Billy and Gwen were stealing culturally significant religious objects. It boggles my mind. But I do not believe for one minute that Ryan and Michael were not involved or the rest of the Petherick clan for that matter. Pardon the pun, but that family is thick as thieves.

I wonder if they will be banned from any of the brocantes? There is no way they could wander those vast shops and not nick something shiny to be sold back in the UK. They live in a small community and not only do small communities talk but they remember for generations. Their boys will be teased mercilessly.

Doubt, SJ will claim they asked permission to take foto's in the chapel which she gave her go ahead for, but she wasn't aware that the foto's were erotic/diabolical.

TCD for me went from how do other people live to wow what a waste of opportunities, spotting lies and reading tattle. I love seeing tattlers comments come to fruition in the flogs.
