So now she's doing it the French way - just an excuse to buy new curtain rods.

Must be pretty boring at the moment in the land of lies - there's been a post on IG from Steph for 5 days in a row... or just distraction because they're already in Vienna?
I noticed she’s suddenly developed word diarrhea on her socials. She had said some other person handles it for her, but I’m thinking she’s taken it back over. Her or phiphi. I think it is an effort to grow her channel since it has totally stagnated.

Slight derail coming! Do any of our kitchen wizards have any tips for de-seeding pomegranates? Last week, a friend gave me a bag of tropical fruits. I procrastinated over the pomegranate as I couldn't face doing it.
It was ages since I 'd had one and I think I made a mistake by cutting it into two halves. I should probably have cut it into segments. How do you extract the seeds without getting the "membranes", (whatever they are called)? I ended up splashing myself and the kitchen with pink juice! Fortunately, it seems to come off clothes easily and doesn't stain. It tastes lovely, probably because, by the time I faced up to it, it was really ripe!

The trick is to peel them while they are submerged in a bowl of water!

Good for Amanda.

I'd have gone ballistic if hunters came onto my property too. It's those few who have no respect for private property (there are some who are absolute arseholes)that give a bad name to those that do.

Don't know if they've got signs up saying private property/no hunting, it might help.
My friend has a big property, she says she moved to the countryside to enjoy nature, NO you can't come and kill it!! We have wild boars here now, was unheard of 10 years ago but they're multiplying...

Are you looking to have just the juice after or the arils? Either way, I start by removing the crown by sticking a paring knife in at about a 45 degree angle so you remove the crown as a sort of shallow funnel shaped section. Looking down from the top you’ll see the membrane separating the pom into segments much like you would see in citrus. Take your knife and make a shallow cut about .25” deep from crown to base point to divide the segments. At that point you should be able to pry apart the segments like you would an orange. However do this part of over a bowl of water. The arils will drop to the bottom of the bowl and the white membrane will float and can be skimmed off then strain out the water to leave the arils. If you just want the juice once you have the arils out you can put them in a blender and pulse it a few times. This will juice the arils without pulverizing the seed. Pour the resulting liquid through a fine mesh strainer. This is how I get my juice to make pom curd. It took me a few poms to refine my technique but once I did it worked great.

Here's how I do it - I do cut them in half initially, but then get the arils separated under water. There are some methods to say you can knock each half with a knife handle or a spoon, but that's never worked for me as well as this!

When I still had the dogs, we'd quite often see boar on our walks. They're quite a common sight here, big buggers! They do an organised cull each year as they breed so well. They do a lot of damage and are coming into the village more and more.

Fanny still pretending she’s some kind of knowledgeable designer.

And what's with the ANGLO-SAXON curtains? Fanny is exceptionally unknowledgeable and stupid. Get your terms straight.

nah, just sax'n.jpg

Amuary is strange to me, I fail to see what he does all day, he is on the pay roll therefore should be working 5 days a week, 7 / 8 hours a day what has he / the chateau he got to show for it ? He looks nice, is softly spoken and hates Snorts so his star should be rising but he just looks so fed up and angry on camera ALL the time. The longer he stays at CHMN the more the life is getting sucked out of him, I think Fannys ways have rubbed off on him and he can get away with working at such a slow /can't be arsed pace that it has become the norm. He should take the reins and push forward with so many projects, get help in and spend Fannys money like Snorts does, make a difference or get himself the hell out of there.
I recon due to Tattle she's had a word, he's not quite as sullen, he's being forced to make polite conversation at the table, Nutti has been more pleasant... He's been told his pay cheque is from the grift, and he needs to contribute.... He's still difficult to understand sometimes, as is Snorts.. Once again she says, "it's killing you..." wtf.. I can't recall her ever saying that before buddy fell off the roof.

Who goes OUTSIDE - in to the garden / chapel not wearing a coat in winter ???? They are so thick at the CHMN, Snorts creepily follows Fanny to the chapel to get his mug and voice on the vlog in his thin jumper. They are so lost for content that they need to discuss how well kitted out Fanny is.
Natti sat on top of the heater pretending to be busy at her computer, as if, hundreds of pairs of gloves including screen friendly, hats, scarves, and nothing made use of they all deserve to get pneumonia.
I think Snorts doesn't want her spending time alone with the man/men in the chapel.... A straight man would be competition... He must have flown out the house when he realized she'd gone over there... no coat? No matter.... my inheritance is at stake...

Unfortunately you have to kill the wild boar. They multiply so fast and are so destructive. They can be dangerous too under certain circumstances.

Lots of wild boar in Hong Kong. They are occasionally culled by the gov't, but definitely part of the landscape and best to keep your distance.

There are between 2,000 and 3,000 wild boar in Hong Kong, where the city has encroached on their natural habitat. Attacks on people are rare, but the male wild boar is not to be trifled with. It can grow up to 200kg in weight, run at 40km/h and shift a heavy tree trunk with its snout.

Boars aren't a problem yet for her, but she has a lot of deer, wild turkeys, ducks etc... her problem is mink and coyotes... She gets chicken and turkey chicks for her own use every year, and raises pheasant chicks to repopulate the area (though she suspects the neighbours hunt them)

Stagnated because she does zero renovation. It’s all just shopping for crap with her GayLodger and trying to justify it. How sad that they are they only ones left eating expired canned goods in the freezing cold surrounded by their filthy hoard. Grey Gardens anyone?

Thank you, that sounds great. I thought I should have separated the segments. It's supposed to be really good for you.

Thanks, that looks great. I feel inspired to buy one now, earlier on, I never wanted to see another one!

Duh. Socks get washed with trews. Everyone knows that. Honestly @Karma baby! ...
With the prices of electricity in the UK the only separation of washes I do is coloured and whites and if I know it doesn't run it just gets bunged in... Can't afford to be faffing around with washing, if it's fluffy and at risk of shedding onto other items it wil wait until there is more fluffiness to wash.
