The Bear - Disney+

I thought episode 1 was brilliant incredibly well filmed and gave a good insite into who Carmy is.
Same. Me watching episode 1 -

I’m trying really hard to avoid any spoilers, even run length of the episode. I’m five in so far.
My friend started watching it from the start and it reminded me how much I struggled with the first episode, couldn’t follow anything!

Have binge watched the whole thing but no spoilers coming. I absolutely loved Episode 1 - allllll of the highs and mostly lows Carmy had gone through leading up to that meltdown in the fridge. I found so many similar moments in my own family life and career, it’s impossible not to feel for him. I’ve missed them all.

I’ve decided to give this another chance after starting and stopping the first episode. Finally Finished season 1 last night in one sitting 🤣 ALWAYS fancied JAW after seeing him in US version of shameless (prefer it to the UK version lol). But in this 👌

some of the scenes make me uncomfortable like I just want to go into their world and go “stop getting worked up!! It’s only FOOD!” But hey that’s the hospitality industry I guess.

i really want to like Ebon’s charachted, Richie but I find him soooo annoying. Does he getting better in season 2?

Oh season 2 Richie is something else ❤️❤️

Season 2 Richie and the Forks episode is brilliant.

I enjoyed it but also felt like it was half a series. Except for some shouting there wasn’t enough Richie/Carmy interaction for me either.

I agree. There was hardly any interaction between Syd and Richie either, other than the odd Chef Syd please tell Chef Carmy to go duck himself, etc. I really loved the Syd/Richie dynamic in season 1 so really missed that.

Also, take out the Faks and they're reeeeeally stretching it to call it a comedy this series.

I finished episode eight last night (!) and am kinda gutted there’s only two left. But I was too much of a mess after that to watch anymore!

For those who have finished it all, and without spoilers please, is it best to watch 9 and 10 consecutively or eke it out for max viewing pleasure?

I watched them one after the other but I would have eked them out if I had the self control!

Just finished & although I need some time to ‘digest’ what I’ve watched my overall feeling is disappointment 😕 I feel there were flashes of brilliance in the first episode, Napkins & the Sugar/Donna episode but other than that, NOTHING happened & the rehashing of issues from S1 & 2 & the increasingly annoying & ridiculous Fak scenes were just boring for me. I’ve purposely not read any reviews but I’m interested to see how it’s widely been received…

Just finished it
="Season 3"I enjoyed it but not sure it had the same magic as the other seasons. But then I guess it showed the drudge of running a new restaurant. Carmy is clearly trying to put his all into it but the lack of anything else in his life is having the opposite impact he thought it would. Love love loved the chemistry between syd and Luca. I sobbed all through the Donna episode. What struck me the most is how unhappy everyone seemed. I don’t think this is the last we’re seeing of Shapiro but that may well be useful for if Cicero pulls the funds following THE REVIEW

apparently the thing about them filming three and four back to back isn’t true, but who the hell knows.
