The Bear - Disney+

I read somewhere (maybe it was on here 😂) that the show itself decides which category to put themselves forward as and they would stand a better chance in comedy. Not sure how true it is

Anyone watching the new series? I'm enjoying it but it's... different. Just watched episode 6 'Napkins' and it the only episode that stands out so far which is a bit of a let down over half way into the series.

something feels off this series and i can’t quite work out what (i’m on episode 4) - i also don’t like that sid and carmy seem to have spent so little time together. i don’t know if they rushed it, as it seemed to get written and filmed and released in an extremely short space of time but it doesn’t seem to have the same care that the other series had.

Finished it last night, it feels like the first half of a whole series (part 2 next year). They left a lot unresolved.

I read yesterday they wrote and filmed s3 and 4 back to back so it really was rushed

that makes sense - it feels really rushed, i hope s4 doesn’t have the same tone if they filmed them together :( it’s usually such a perfectly judged show that this series has really disappointed me so far.
