Yes! It did my head in, I called her Manic Pixie Dream Doctor to my H and said how does an ER doctor to have loads of free time to take the day off and constantly call Carmy. It's like the writers never met a woman with a job before
 
Late to the party with this one , recently binged all 3 series, unfortunately I'm on the side of disappointment of series 3 , it is good acting etc but the same thing for one episode bores me personally and I don't mind a few flash backs but not over and over again
I hope the next series has a bit more mixture per episode

The Ice Chips episode bugged the hell out of me. It was such an unrealistic portrayal of labour.

I felt it was, and wasn’t simultaneously - the mother’s words and behaviour were so similar to my experience with my own mother that it stressed me the duck out watching.

That episode lost me at Sugar feeling like she had no choice but to call her mother. It didn’t help her a jot when she was stuck in traffic, she still had to make her own way to the hospital and meet her mother there only to have to rein her in the whole time. Pointless!
