I quite like the one who is Danny Dyers love child. She gets involved, moves things along. Her lips are distracting, but that’s just an aside.

The levels of self delusion are as big as ever.

This was a few years back but does anyone remember the ex-apprentice candidate who was invited to appear at a parliamentary committee on reality TV?
She basically said that production actively sabotaged the tasks to make them look bad, so it made a better TV programme.

Having not watched since 2015, it’s really jarring that the show hasn’t changed much since it’s inception and is almost identical to the episodes they were airing a decade ago. Same boardroom set, same editing style, same music, same tasks. The presence of Tim is the only thing that distinguishes it.

I might have posted this on here before but I do think that replacing Alan with Deborah Meaden and having a complete refresh would do it wonders. Set it outside of London, have completely new tasks, a new visual style etc. The whole thing currently presents such a 1980s view of how business works.

(I do think that changing the prize from a job to an investment was when it started to jump the shark, but I can’t see them going back to then old format).
